What could possibly be interesting if Salem is responsible but ends up an ally anyway. If she was designed as a villain character, then in the Park she would have probably been programmed to play pranks on the other mascots and on the guests, though said pranks would have been very harmless. She decided to make the other characters mean too as one such prank as in the Rambley Rush game but something went wrong and turned the others seriously dangerous and Salem became incredibly remorseful after her actions caused genuine harm.

On the Tuesday Saturday "mistake" it probably isn't.... and I point to the tail end of the Molly Chase as proof, the AI part of Rambley can and will find work arounds for situations, like the pay system for tickets being completely inoperative so he fudges the date and slaps on as many discounts and refunds as he can to justify letting someone in without paying, or putting a guest on the payroll to give them access to a saferoom when they're being chased and in danger for their lives. Rambley is made of three things, The Character, the foundation of Rambley's identity, a hard-coded set of directives and restrictions, and the actual AI (a lonely and childlike thing that probably was brought online within months of the Park's shutdown at most, suggested by the first part of the "Rambley Review"). Other errors may be because park employees (or someone or something else) may of attempted to "Forcibly" remove information about Salem Skunk, without properly removing the program calls for that information. The third big glitch type for Rambley is Extreme emotion, Anger and "Fear" both, with Rambley glitching in anger over Lloyd's preferential treatment in terms of merchandise over Rambley and the other Characters, or in response to "Ed"'s Fear/Disgust to the death of the Molly Mascot (Which also shows Rambley can disassociate the Mascots from the Characters not long after, allowing him to acknowledge them as different people/things).

I really like this, as I also believe there isn't much more to the glitches other than software or hardware issues. For example, we can see Rambley glitch out at the starting monitor, which is probably just him corrupting the "introduction" video to speak to you directly. He's likely overflowing his own memory (not actual memories, just hardware RAM), causing the introduction to crash and skip. Most times we see him glitch, it can be explained by "non-normal" behavior, such as trying to load missing or corrupted files or skipping preprogrammed dialogue. For instance, when he tries to say certain words for the first time, like after the chase sequence, "scared, angry, confused" are mashed into one. Most of his memory sticks are probably corrupt, and a few are kept alive by skipping unnecessary information, like position frames for his appearance on the screen. His emotions might be literally cooking the system too, causing it to lower the quality of his voice and skip certain animation info to save itself. It might also be trying to call a hard drive that's already severely corrupted, resulting in damaged animation data. It wouldn't surprise me if he had all his core modules on separate drives, so when one corrupts, the others keep working.

OOo I like the idea of an employee removing the data, especially if they know she caused it. As to avoid legal blame to the park. While I could also see some of the glitches being caused by how long it's been since his repair protocols were run. Leading to him being heavily fragmented in parts. Which might get resolved when Ed gets to that point, but during the de-fragmentation all the doors will unlock and you have to manually close them all FNAF style to prevent the system from being destroyed or Ed being killed. *Robot coming from left door, close left door, etc.*

@@JamesJazzz Yeah he's likely corrupted his HDD might be failing too leading to the slow access speed since it's been working much harder than normal since it's not been being defragmented on a regular cycle. Rambley suggests this when he says he can go for a defrag. I disagree about RAM being faulty that would've been more fatal and caused him to crash it's possible the program could be leaking ram causing some of the slowdown, but I'm inclined to blame the HDD it's usually the first thing to go.

getting data wrong is very in-character for AI. I remember the very first question i asked ChatGPT for was "what day is it" and it gave wrong answer by 2 days XD

I personally think the cause is more thematic. The game constantly brings up the fact that the park and it's assets are there to make the owner's money through corporate commodification, advertising, and exploitation (the spray painted plush, the tag line at the end of each mascot's scene advertising the other rides you can go on, the post-mortem enforcement of the expired Ranglers trademark). Its clear this commodification is going to be a big theme in the story. Which puts Rambley's character in an weird position. He is diegeticially aware of the fact that he and his friends are a commodity used to sell the park and merchandise, but also seems to earnestly act as if he and the other character's are real and have authentic relationships with each other. This is a state of cognitive dissonance that must be difficult to maintain for a computer program built out of logic. I don't think Rambley will be a villain, per se, but I think this cognitive dissonance may have been either a catalyst or an accelerator for corruption of the other park assets. It's possible that Rambley's personality has been fragmented and the Rambley we met at the entrance is just one of many versions that were created to try and resolve the dissonance. Or Rambley himself is just one aspect of a larger AI system that contains multiple personalities that became dysfunctional with each other and needed to split apart to remain sane, but nonetheless have difficulty functioning alone as they were never intended to work that way.

This would be interesting to see multiple personalities in indigo park all of different rambley raccoons running the park along with slowly merging each rambley ai as one being it would add more depth to the story to see other rambley ai's that where fragmented from the main ai have there own unique personality and causing a little chaos and what not

The idea that the characters are torn by knowing that their memories of them being friends with the others are false, but feeling they are just as real as anything happening around Indigo Park is interesting. Rambley could probably point to the events of an in universe show where he and Lloyd came into conflict as why Rambley does not like Lloyd.

i read somewhere that glitchiness happens when hes getting out of his ai confinement. like hes acting way more sentient and his animations become way more fluid. due to that comment, i thought of rambly trying to get u to explore the park. hence why he says its rambly tuesday. i mean, that would make sense as he was lonely for around 8 years. think back on the chase scene near the end. he changes his mind once he sees mollie chasing u. he makes u staff to save ur life. hes literally rewriting code cuz hes trying to protect his only friend and to get u to stay.

Rambley is sure glitchy as heck But what can anyone expect tho? The park has been closed for 8 years, nature started to take over the park, Ramblex is an AI, and the AI had issues after starting up again after that long 8 years, full of many glitches I also don't think he will turn against us. I think the reason rambly seems so weird is because he’s a logical ai based off a character with a lot of emotions and probably hasn’t gone through a update for a long time added by the fact that the park is abandoned and in a state of disrepair so no doubt the computer got corrupted somewhere

About Reverse speech... This is how human hearing works, if you set text in front of someone while nonsensical vocalizations play in the audio, their brain will halucinate different audio that matches the written text. From that point on, that audio will trigger the memory of the text, which will trigger the memory of the halucinated audio, and it's extremely difficult to listen to the original audio as it really is at that point. Crazy I know! But I had to learn this the hard way, by experimenting on my own perception. It's really trippy to catch your own mind betraying you like that. Anyway, hope this helps!

I agree with with your theory 100% also there was a rambley raccoon mascot as there is a rambley head collectible that says it’s from one of those old mascot suits also in the tape it’s talking about someone hating wearing the mascot suit so possibly the rambley mascot could be very corrupted bigger than the rest and could possibly working with Salem maybe by glitching the computers and the rambley a.i version.

Part of me think his robot equivalent got taken over by a rogue ai. While Rambley is more of the greeting AI, this AI was meant to be the security system. Obviously Salem being that AI, but I choose to believe that the owners of the place that Lamb toy originated caused it to go rogue as a form of sabotage. Tried to hack into the park to steal ideas and tech, only to make a little oppsie in the code and change Salem's code in the worst possible way. As the molly animatronic under the rubble said.. "Not rambley, he hurt lloyd" His AI can't leave the front of the part, can't affect things physically without a human's input, as he mentioned. But a physical version could, only going rogue causing him to attack Lloyd, or a version of him at least.. Hence Molly's statement would be true. Maybe we will see this specific one, which will cause our Rambley to be all "I may hate lloyd, but I would never do THIS to him" Possibly using one of the repair protocols he needs a human for to repair this lloyd, the repair leaving lloyd humble. Shocking Rambley further, when he cuts the theatrics.

It feels wrong to me how the villain is named after the Salem Witch Trials, which is where innocent people get accused of witchcraft and get horribly executed. There's also the implication that the character who was confirmed to be non-binary ends up being the only villain.

You don’t say considering how polar opposite our theory’s are it’s surprising to have so much common ground while we both have good evidence this game like poppy playtime and FNAF 1 share the commonality of being more of a proof of concept. So I think it’s reasonable that these paradoxical theories exist case in point how can we accurately guess a story that the developers themselves haven’t fully written.
