What Really Happened Between Rambley and Lloyd in Indigo Park

I think that there is a strong possibility that Llyod was the first mascot to be changed from masked employees to being the current creature we encountered. And that the animalistic Llyod was the first one to cause an incident at the park with a separate later incident (caused by a different mascot) that closed the park. This suggests that Llyod had to be retired as the primary mascot with all of his park features being removed. This also explains why the Critter Cuff has a self-defense mechanism that worked on Llyod, but not on Molly. And so, I feel that Rambley is angry with Llyod because of that first park incident that the animalistic Llyod caused.

What's interesting though is that they're not just regular mascots with humans controlling them. They're likely animals who were used for experiments by humans in order to replace the employees.

Something to note is that Lloyd's bio specifically says "he's friends with Rambley and the gang, but he's really starting to push it", implying that both Mollie and Finley also don't like him. As for why? He's annoying, loud, and arrogant, having the arrogance to make monarchs appear as mere commoners. It could also very much be jealousy of Lloyd's popularity. But it definitely does feel a lot more complex than that, perhaps Lloyd did something like steal something important from Rambley, such as his rambleberry stash or something He couldn't have been the original mascot since the Indigo cartoons that Ed mentions were called Rambley and Pals, as well as the fact that Rambley was the virtual assistant(and thus mascot) since day 1 when the park actually opened. All of this info comes directly from Mason himself, in his "Meet the cast of Indigo Park"

I believe the possibility that Lloyd was originally the first mascot for Indigo Park hence the Retro Lloyd plush, the painted logo "Lloyd's Limos" and the Lloyd statue in the backstage of Lloyd's Mane Stage. This implies that Llyod's park features had to be taken down, and he had to be decommissioned as the main mascot. This also clarifies why Molly was unable to activate the self-defense mechanism of the Critter Cuff that was effective on Llyod.

Well, I can think of a reason why Rambley would hate Lloyd. Basically, Rambley probably thinks that his "friends" should all have around equal treatment. However, I'd think depending on his ego-level (and let's admit it - Lloyd has a big ego), Lloyd could have betrayed Rambley's trust after Rambley became the new mascot at Indigo park. Most likely, he could have actually assisted Salem Skunk in some of their misdeeds. And I think it has to do with Finley in particular: this is because we have to a big question - how would a giant monster that's underwater get turned "evil"? Well, I doubt Salem could have filled Finley's tank with enough potions to fully turn him evil. The water (and maybe even salt) would be too likely to lessen the power of those bottles we see on their waist. Even if every single one was use that was on their waist, I doubt it would work just due to the idea of how much would be needed. However, Lloyd being a lion could easily transport a lot more of the potion, dump it in Finley's tank under Salem's instructions, and GTFO. If it was multiple crates worth over a day, Finley could have even ingested these directly, which would make them more effective. Sure, Lloyd is a lion, but multiple species of big cats can swim in real life, so it's possible Lloyd could have done all of it and gotten out of there without getting hurt. This also would have gotten Lloyd more attention by Finley hurting people and having his attraction shut down. So, I see that Lloyd easily could have been convinced to help on a temporary basis by Salem Skunk - in this situation, Rambley would have found out due to the camera feeds around the park and resent Lloyd for that.

@@Shadowcat753 I don't think so. Lloyd strikes me as someone who passionately lives his craft that he becomes oblivious to his friends. The only way he would help is Salem is if she tricked him into doing said deed. Salem could have easily doctored a script and Lloyd being none the wiser would have followed the script to a T without any forethought. Not to mention that Salem is a trickster. So the only way to trick Lloyd is to make him believe that what he's doing is part of a script for some production.

Yes, I think Salem could have made a plot like that, but I think Lloyd might be jealous enough to do that whether or not that was the case. A star wants to stay in the spotlight if given the chance, and Lloyd might ask himself "Why is X character getting so much attention? Why aren't I getting tthat?" This is something he could answer for himself with most of the others well, (especially Rambley). Molly's personality is cheerful despite her crashing tendencies, so I think Lloyd would understand why a lot of others like her. With Finnley's personality, Lloyd might wonder why people even like him enough to have a stop on the train ride. This might even push him towards being more willing to do exactly what I suggested if someone pointed out that "Lloyd, you're amazing and should be getting those views that Finnley somehow has." Plus, whether or not Lloyd was tricked by Salem, Rambley would still be likely to resent him for being willing to betray the entire park, as well as, his other friends. Rambley seems like a Raccoon that values loyalty. This is probably why with mentioning Molly with the Lloyd throwback plush Rambley's AI voice sounds normal but alters right after Finnley's name. Sure, there's also the alternation after "loudest", but that's more to make a point rather due to emotion. Rambley is remembering exactly what Lloyd did and doesn't care if it was because Lloyd was tricked or not.

He even says shortly after that they don't want to give away their hand since Chapter 1 is their pilot episode. The cartoons could've started (in-universe) at any time, possibly well after the park opened for the first time. This also lines up with the fact that we see old signs for a previous attraction called "Lloyd's Limos" where "Rambley's Railroad" now exists, on top of the statue of Lloyd that looks like the one of Rambley on Main Street, as well as Rambley's face being where Lloyd's used to be at the main entrance when the park was first opened. Add on the fact that Lloyd is the only one to have a retro plush and it's pretty well established Lloyd came first.

It's probably just a set piece or they had planned for Lloyd to replace Rambley, since they have no reason to keep it if Rambley replaced Lloyd Lloyd was the fan favorite, so they made special merch of him, but Rambley was always the star. Sort of like Pokemon and Charizard, Charizard gets a lot more attention from the company despite Pikachu being the mascot and always being the mascot

It could've been possible that Lloyd was the first mascot of Indigo Park with how there are a lot of hints throughout the chapter that hint towards this like the Retro Lloyd plush, the painting from Rambley's Railroad with them shaking hands while Lloyd handed Rambley a document, and the signs showing the change of the first ride we ride in Chapter 1 from Lloyd's Limos to Rambley's Railroad.

I have a theory about why i think Rambley hates Lloyd! So you know the weird head of Rambley? The audio shows that the original Mascots were employees. And If you heard Mollie on her death screen, she says "get back in your cage, Bird." Showing that the Mascots were not treaded right. And if you heard Mollie when you had to fix the train ride, she also says "Not Rambley! He hurts Lloyd" over and over. So what I'm guessing is that one of the employees were wearing the head of Rambley and harming the mascots, including Lloyd. And Mollie saw this. And thought it was Rambley, like everyone else. After that, Lloyd and Rambley got into a fight for Rambley probably being accused that He was hurting everyone, when he never was.. I hope you like this it took me a while to make this😭

It's simpler than this, his other AI friends might have reluctantly agree to shutdown convinced by Llyod and so Rambley had to be all alone. In the credits he mentions too reunite with his friends so we will see how it will play out.

That's a great theory! Whatever it is, Lambley still hates Lloyd 😂 Surely their relationship wasn't bad from the start, as you can see in the photo. But I think they were treated more special than the other characters as Isaac Indigo and indigo park's first mascots, as you can see in the recordings from the kiosks, and we wondered why Lloyd had to retire from the mascot position for some reason, the mascot position went to the rambley, and even though Lloyd was more likely to be jealous or hateful of the rambley, on the card board, Lloyd doesn't see him particularly badly, but rather, they weren't bad at the time, but on the contrary, I wondered if Rabley had broken up with something he hated. If I guess a little more hypothesis, maybe it's true that the complete reason why rambley hates Lloyd isn't just because of jealousy, the picture seems to point to something more special and big between the two. Above all, in the introduction of the Lloyd character, he was introduced as having such an arrogant attitude that even a monarch can't beat. I think there must have been a reason why Lloyd, who loves the spotlight, gave rambley a purely mascot position, and he would have continued to be treated well at Edo Park after retiring from his mascot position. At some point you find a busted Molly animatroic that says and I quote"Not Rambily he hurts Loyid" I think Rampilys angery isn't out of jellusy or annoyance but guilt at some point Rambily hurt loyid and his programing was currupted with guilt so much so he dosen't want to speek with loyid atleast for long he knows what he did was wrong and is trying to berry it but when hes reminded of Loyid hes reminded of what hyapponed and it sets him off. I'm not gonna lie, I think that there might be some jealousy stemming from the fact that Rambley is upset about being the only one without any living mascot counterpart. It just feels like he's mad about being alone, but might be especially mad that Lloyd got to have a real body before the main character when Rambley has had to put up with so much as the face of the park, seemingly gets no breaks, is connected to what looks like every single system in the park, has to cater to the needs and wants of not only all of the guests, but also every single employee, and he doesn't seem to receive any recognition for his hard work, effort, and seemingly saint-like levels of patience and kindness, especially from Lloyd, and he feels like Lloyd should understand how it feels better than Mollie or Salem or Finley would. Rambley most likely feels hurt from the lack of acknowledgement of his own struggles being unable to do what Lloyd takes for granted, and is upset with Lloyd, who doesn't show affection or speak kindly to their friends despite the fact that he should better understand how Rambley feels than any of the other mascots.
