As a male Saiyan, I’m probably going to rely on Super Saiyan God moving forward. I’ve never cared too much for using Supers and Ultimates save for after stamina breaks, which God’s ki recovery can really help with.

God doesnt have any ki recovery. It doesnt change it at all. But thats better than losing ki of course. If you dont use supers and ults then SSG is obviously better for that style.

I dont think SSG is strictly better. I think its great if thats your play style, then its the awoken for you. But if you like to use a lot of good supers then SSB with like the "Pathetic" super soul or the Galick gun super soul is still amazing. You can easily work in a fast supers like earth splitting galick gun into a combo or right at the end of one. Earth splitting gallick/fast supers comes out instantly and can take a whole bar of health or more with these set ups. And all you gotta do is a knock away or hard knock down and its guaranteed, or forces them to use stamina. None of this matters if all you do is basic attack combos. But they'er just too many powerful and fast Supers and Ults to say SSG is the best when it ignores all of them for just basic attack and no boosted stam recovery like the other awokens. I can kill a lot of people with just landing 2-3 supers because of how high you can pump super damage in this game, especially ki supers. And extra stamina recovery is incredibly useful in PVP, moreso than any other mode.

@@travisadams6279 that's the point I tried to make in my original comment. SSG is only really useful for simple builds like brawlers who occasionally use ki, and go for a long game. It's all a matter of perspective on the utility and play style of the gamer. I use SSGSSE in PVP and destroy people. I have a Max ki, Max basic attack build. This really causes people lots of grief for how I play.

SSG is definitely PVE viable. You’re getting a load of extra Ki with it, combine it with Ki auto recovery super soul and you will never run out. Basic attack combos into super attack or ultimates is way better with SSG. Blue is still king for Raids though.

I've been using SSG for a while now and I think I'm gonna stick with it. Another big reason why I love it except the massive basic damage is the ki gain in combos, you can build up 2 ki bars in a basic combo

Thats impressive for SSG, but you should do a more comprehensive test. Where you make builds that stack bonus's on top of each other. For example, if Im running SSB, Im probably going to run the new Vegeta Super soul, for constant auto ki recovery, a medium bonus to all damage, and medium bonus to speed with no downsides. You must also factor in the extra stamina recovery of SSB and SSBE. Or stack SSB or SSBE with something like "Ill turn you and this entire planet into spacedust" with earth splitting galick gun, or the "Pathetic" super soul which stacks 3 Medium boosts to ki blast, 3 boosts to ki recovery and someting else.. Simply slapping on a transformation, without harmonizing the super soul, stats! and supers together doesnt prove all that much. And even if SSG were to still come out on top in some kind of combo you did, you still have to factor in versatility. Are you really only going to use basic attacks to kill all your foes? Because I have a build right now that kills in two knock aways or hard knock downs simply because of the follow up ki blasts, which they are forced to eat, or blow their stamina. Either way, I win. Its even more broken in PVE, because the CPU is inept.

I’m glad they made this more interesting than just “SSB but less ki drain and damage”, I think SSB is better for the overall game because it’s better for offline/co-op because there are enemies that are tanky enough to warrant going for big combos with lots of supers that benefit from SSB more and SSB is better for just spamming ki supers in things like raids but in PvP SSG is better, getting that huge basic attack boost is just more helpful than having more powerful supers

super saiyan god is great for PVE, but in PVP, the timed attack mechanic removes the male saiyans ability to step cancel on many hits, including the XY, so male saiyans will fall behind other races like female majins and male earthlings in terms of their safety in the neutral.

SSBE just needs that one Fu super soul that grants Ki regen above a certain health margin (75%). I use this combo in PQs and it's easy to maintain the transformation so long as you don't spam ultimates and use efficient supers. With the super soul, the ki drain of the awoken skill is negged entirely so long as you maintain your health pool above that thresh hold.

if you got a male saiyan with 3 ki bars and buus reached his full power you get a 35% boost to all attacks constantly with no downside 1 combo gives you 2 ki bars, and any knockaway can let you burst charge and get 3 ki bars which activate your soul so in other words you get blue evolution boost but without any ki drain and it doesnt have an animation that can be blocked and break your stamina you get like a 95% boost to basic attacks, 35% to ki blasts, 35% to strike, you can gain ki with the build and will almost always be topped off and it will be rather difficult to not be full because in 1 combo your gaining almost all your ki and the boost can even get activated before your enemy can reach you because burst charge is so fast. only benefits, no downsides or drawbacks, and you can use fast skills like bending kamehameha to abuse the super souls boost AND YET EVERYONE KEEPS TALKING ABOUT STUPID TOPPO SOUL AND ZARBON SOUL EVEN THO THIS BUILD IS JUST AS GOOD BUT WITHOUT THE DRAWBACKS TOPPO SOUL HAS

They have simply introduced too many good super souls that make SSB n SSBE broken. The new Vegeta super soul they just released in that raid last month... Its give you a M increase to ALL damage, constant high auto ki recovery and a M increase to speed, all with no downsides.... SSB, its overall damage, its superior speed bonus, (super important for online pvp and netcode) its insane stamina recovery, is simply king if built properly.

For those people who are saying we can use the super soul called “Right Then… Let’s Begin The Experiment” for ssj blue, its a good super soul but there are pros and cons, for the pros, it gives us XL of Ki gained and XL for all attacks but it only applies when you have 75% of health or more, so you have to be very careful to not get hit by anything from the enemy ur up against, another one is the activation of auto ki, and as for the cons, well when you’re health is below 75%, say goodbye to that super soul while ur in battle, ur ki will be starting to drain that time

Like the "pathetic" super soul boosts all skills that are strike or ki blast by 10% AND 10% MORE ki gain that and you can stack it 3 times for an easy 30% boost to strike supers ki supers and ki gain, its as if its the new SSBE without drawbacks which is perfect in my opinion, but really the SSG form having almost no downsides and plenty of buffs allows more flexibility in terms of builds with skills super souls and even qq bangs assuming you have a few good ones

I think they specifically designed blue with a ki Drain so that that it will go with a specific Super Soul yet to be released. A whis super soul labeled "You're letting your power leak out too much" if they do make a super soul like this it will primarily negate the ki drain. But I hope that it also boosts all attacks with no negative effects. And if they aren't making this please spread awareness of this.

You're forgetting something: SSG combo + super attack only does slightly more damage than SSB when you do a really long combo, which is not all that realistic to land because people are just gonna vanish that. So doing a short combo into a super attack is way more likely to land and in that case SSB would be better since it increases the damage of all super attacks and most of the damage comes from the super attack in short combos

Id say the ki drain is bad, but not in modern Xenoverse 2. There are several great super souls for those awokens. The new Vegeta one that gives constant auto ki regen, one of the strongest ki regens I might add, a medium increase to ALL damage, and a medium increase to speed. It makes SSB and SSBE damn broken.. The "pathetic" super soul is great too. Or base Gogeta's if you dont have some of the others.

It's all a matter of perspective on situations and builds. If someone is using a brawler build, with physical supers and Ultra attacks, SSGSS or SSGSS (Evolved) are better choices, just because there are souls that allow Ki regenerative Limit Breaks. This is a good video and explains things well enough, but SSG is only really better for PVE balanced builds and heavy Ki builds without regeneration properties. Also, if you do choose to use a Ki build with the Blue and Blue Evolved forms, it's best to have a Burst Charge for any of those builds because you're meant to use that between whipping someone's tail when you send them flying. Like I said, perspectives and builds come into play mostly with how the player prefers to play, what they like, and what transformation and souls work best with that.

Dashboarding is a built in lag switch it literally either needs to be countered by xv becoming incompatible with it during multiplayer, making it pause when it desyncs (up to twice and then it will boot the person who's game is ahead of the other, as desyncing is when your game is behind your enemies and he did it by dashboarding. Basically if it made you wait to reload the match and eventually booted you. Meaning you can't standby people or boost by lag kicking. Really I think because capture cards are a thing and the Xbox clip system is why the Xbox lags so bad... Really I think xv2 should do what it does for campaign mode and not let you record it in multiplayer PvP. That way, you can dashboard but there isn't as much your Xbox has to do so it doesn't desync as much. A combo of these ideas might work. Maybe tag lag switchers with a black name?

@@sleepykittyH I probably won't be abble to explain it properly but basically, you do for example the 5 light 3 heavy for male saiyans, the moment they cac kiks away the oponent, you stop the combo boost up to them and still continue the combo, so in a sence you cancelled a combo to go into another combo or super move. Again, i don't think I'm explaining it properly so you should probably look it up. You'll understand it better when you see it happen.

Meteor Explosion may deal only 10K damage, but once you use it, the opponent cannot use an evasive or limit burst. It's guaranteed damage. 10K damage makes it balanced.

Blue evo drains too much ki for it to be able to use. God can make almost any build viable because it only boosts basic atk. Plus we also have super souls, and it's also hella saucy

I mainly play Male Saiyan and SSJ God is perfect for Basic attack damage which I spec into, that and not having to micro-manage KI drain is a huge boon for any Saiyan Female or Male. Male Saiyans benefit the most but I have a hybrid Male Saiyan Spec'd into Basic, Strike and Health with "Power a lot of power" super soul maxing out both Ki and Stam with the proper QQ Bang. Blue Evolved will always have a place for Hybrid Male Saiyans and Females benefit the most with Evolved due to the high Super attack damage they have, all in all I think all of the god forms have benefits and none triumphs over the other. Want overall damage with fast Stam recovery and increased mitigations? Pick evolved. Want the same thing but can't manage evolved ki drain? Pick regular blue. Want a boost for basic attacks and increase ki regen? Pick Super Saiyan God

It definitely helps Female Saiyans be more effective. The problem that that CAC suffers is lack of significant damage to force an opponent to vanish, but with SSG people are much quicker to use their stamina (and I know someone will say "But eh... you can't cancel it fuckin sucks") And to that I say use Crush Canon and learn to cancel it. Crush Canon is actually a better cancel, despite costing ki, because you Don't even need to step after. You can just immediately turn around to hit your enemy.

On paper Blue sounds better and it might be better for Ki Focused Builds but God makes Basic Attack Builds so powerful and has no real drawbacks so for melee builds it's insanity. It's like they combined Super Saiyan 3 with Future Super Saiyan and Potential Unleashed and just made it pure Unga Bunga strength. Super Saiyan 3 nerfed your Ki Gain and Future Super Saiyan while having a quicker start up was weaker. God is like a mix of Super Saiyan 3 and Future Super Saiyan and it makes the form insanely good as a result. God not having any Ki or strike boosts doesn't really matter when your pure damage and Ki Gain is increased from Blue in such a big way.

Honestly using SSBE in PVP should be used to boost your final hit. SSBE is more worth when facing AI based opponents. I have been working on different builds and skills towards SSBE and SSB as well as God to deal both damage and maintain Ki.

Blue works better for all-round stats, but there's also the Ki drain, which does hamper your ability to do supers despite the innate buffs to them. SSG, on the other hand, allows you to pull off supers far more easily thanks to the slight buff to ki regen, so even though it doesn't buff supers, you can use them more often. This syncs well with the Female Saiyan, whose normal strikes are trash and desperately need the buff, but she comes with innate buffs to supers anyways, so being able to fire them more often than with Blue is an asset. And if you're relying on strikes as a Male Saiyan... Well, 40 freaking percent, at minimum. So, yeah, I definitely like Red better.
