I was 11 yrs old nung time na to and I was there, 2nd night. Paos sya nun pero bumalik yung boses nya sa part ng OTWOL and naitawid nya the rest of the songs. I remember August pa lang umiyak na ko sa papa ko so he could give me money for ticket. It was his birthday gift to me back then and this was the first concert ni ate Reg na napanood ko and ang sarp ulit-ulitin neto. I love you song bird ❤️

For me, she’s more deserving of the National Artist Award than Lea. She has arguably (and single-handedly) shifted the course of OPM and entertainment industry in the Philippines. Her contributions and legacy (even the little nuances in her singing) will be carried on by the next and the next and the next generation of Filipino singers. Lea while amazing in her own right has very limited contributions in the local entertainment (singing) industry. Now that Filipinos are gaining recognition in our singing internationally, it’s hard to deny that when it comes to it, they will always always say Regine is their inspiration. Lea will never be able to say the same.

@@hehehez4691 True kahit tignan mo theme ng mga singing contest sa pinas mapa regional or sa TV, isa sa criteria para manalo is dapat marunong bumirit ung tao. I'm not saying na birit lng, sempre andun na ung technicalities at ung timbre ng boses which is a gift hindi mo pwedeng fake kasi mapapagod ka pagandahin nalang palagi boses mo (eg Charice tignan mo pag bumibirit sya nakataas dila, maganda pakingan, buo, pero hindi natural). At yung birit kasi is a sign of confidence kasi risk un, paano kung pumiyok ka? kanta kanta kapa ng mahirap tapos di mo naman pla kaya i pull off. Ganun si Regine, risk taker, tapos akala mo un na climax meron pa ppla. Risk taker but at the same time full of emotion. Great story teller.

Was there at the Araneta the 2nd night. Love the idea of having these different composers/arrangers get the spotlight while Regine sings the iconic songs they put their magic on. And props to Regine for still fearlessly giving justice to her songs despite having almost no voice. No excuses. She really never shortchanges her listeners. A real pro!

I am a fan since my growing up days. This concert was 2006.. I was just 11 years old that time. Never thought na sobrang BAKULAW pala talaga ni Madam!! Real queen of all queens. Still unbeatable!!! 👏👏👏

@1:28:30 onwards, Nakakakilabot. Halatang enjoy na enjoy din yung mga back up singer. Lord really lifted them higher. Regine was given this talent because through her singing, Lord is glorified.

I've read reviews of ppl who personally watched this concert in 2006 from old forums. Worried daw lahat sa boses ni Regine sa opening pa lang netong 2nd night. Wala siyang boses sa spiels at todo effort sya to control her voice kasi hindi kondisyon at nagkacrack at certain points. Pero pagtungtong ng OTWOL, nagulat lahat dahil nilamon na nya ung Araneta at tuloy tuloy na. Especially the What Kind Of Fool na standing ovation na pala haha. Bumilib ang lahat sa nakakalokang boses na bakal ni songbird na nagpapasabog sa Araneta kahit wala siyang speaking voice

I’m American and discovered Regine in 2022. I fell in love with her voice before I saw her concert videos. I think this concert is the Greatest example for why she is called Queen Regine. It’s hard to believe it took me so long to discover one of the Greatest singers on the planet 🌏 For me she evolved over the decades. She has a towering body of work that is Mind blowing. Discovering this Goddess with three decades of solid gold music is a huge GIFT 🎁. I just love you Regine❤
