Thank you for taking us on the drive. You are correct that seeing these little towns in person is important. These 3 towns are smaller than I imagined looking at online listings and very car dependent. These videos are so helpful.

HI Martha, yes, some of these little towns are less car dependent than others. Montepulciano Stazione is less car dependent and Acquaviva but Valiano and even Abbadia I think you wold really need a car.

Hi Chris, after this trip have Pete and you formed any thoughts on towns that are good values and worth investing renovation monies? Is the Montepulciano area too expensive? Too spread out?

Hi Martha! Happy Thanksgiving! The area in and around Montepulciano there are several towns with bargain properties Valiano is very nice and we loved Gracciano and Abbadia. In all those places you can get something for a good value. Stay tuned. we will be up there a lot more.

Maybe gigi smells animals. Nice tour of neighborhoods. I liked Tuscany vineyards, stayed in Chianti and Siena, but prefer areas that have oceans or seas.

Hi Judi, Yes it is gorgeous there but there ei nothing that beats the sea views in Calabria.
