4 years ago, I bought 4 javascript courses (backend, frontend and programming) to study the language... I spent my last savings. It took me 6 months (without job, as a father of 2 little children, my wife worked as a bartender all the day), but I got my frist job as a Frontend developer. Now I am a senior, I have a stable job and a very good position. If you can, take this course... learn a lot, make all exercises, practice a lot, resolve of problems you can. It takes time, but it's worth it. I am from Mexico... a poor country with less opportunities than yours. Think about it. Never let your dreams go away. Everything is possible making more effort than the others. Bless you!

Hey Simon, I hope you will read this. I am 18, and about a year ago, I got my first job working at McDonald's. That's when I realized how unforgiving the world can be when it comes to making money. I felt so hopeless at that time. I knew I could never reach my financial goals with that job, so I started looking for something better and decided to learn to become a software engineer. Even though I had school and worked 20-25 hours a week at McDonald's (to save up for a laptop), I used my free time to watch your videos and learn HTML and CSS. Today, I finished your JavaScript course, doing all the exercises. Despite the fact that I am working harder than ever before, I feel more satisfied with my future, and you are a big part of that. I know I still have a lot to learn, but I’ve started enjoying the process of learning and improving-something that school never gave me. You are a great teacher, and I hope you will read this comment. Thank you for everything.

I'm 11 hours in and what I really like about this course is the pacing. Even the simple steps like open folders and copying files it happens at the same steady pace, so unlike some courses that speed up and slow down depending on the task I don't get flustered and can maintain my focus. Because the pace is kept constant, what varies is the difficulty of the tasks themselves, so the simple admin tasks become like little mental breaks, and you also learn good file management best practice at the same time.

It's amazing to see how much audience you got in the meantime. Because of your tutorial on html and css I landed my first Wordpress job, and now I just got a junior role at Adobe as a front-end developer. It's amazing to look back at these tutorials and check out other opinions, other solving techniques. As we all know, it's possible to tackle JS in more methods, and even though I know everything from this course, I still watched it completely just to bring back the memories from where I was just starting out. I can't wait to have a community membership available, maybe even create a Discord for your community, I could help out with that. Kudos to you and I hope to see more videos from your side, where you talk more about your career, your day-to-day life, it would be amazing to see and I'm sure that if you're comfortable with doing that, you'd evolve so quick! Woow Sir. Simon you are the best coding tutor i have ever met here on social media, i have been looking for coding ways, i even tried solo learn and others like W3 school but couldn't get it right, right now i have the knowledge on both layouts and styling using HTML and CSS respectetly. Whatever you are doing is so much complex that i don't think there is someone who can just sit down to edit those videos and stream them that long just to help somebody like me to gain your knowledge without even a penny, maan i cherish you, imagine learning coding in almost 1 month, which could have took me 4 years in school😂😂😂😂, i better learn this here I'm not going to school furthermore our Kenyan government is corrupt still rejecting the bloody finance bill 2024 by our conman😂😂😂 Lol Sir. Simon I'm proud of you. Knowledge is power❤

Well.. Finally finish this course in a month + did all the exercises there is to do. For anyone who's wondering if it is worth watch or not, then i must tell you some of the key point about this course. I haven’t seen any JS course with this much exercises and projects. Not to mention the teaching style. His teaching style is no joke😅, trust me on this one. Overall if you take your time to finish this course meaning doing every exercise there is to do then i can say you would have much better knowledge on JS. Wishing you the best of luck❤.

So thanks for this video and your html and css course. I really appreciate it. God bless man. ❤️

SuperSimpleDev is one of the best teachers in KZbin, I think that he teaches better than the University teachers, even if I I didn't go to university yet, but I see a lot of feedbacks that his teachings are better than there teacher in their University. Sometimes, I know that he will not explain a thing well, because he tried his best to explain to his students, it's also hard for him to explain easily the lessons such as functions, objects, arrays, clearTimeout, clearInterval... So as a summary, I love Simon's courses on his channel, and I wish that I can join his channel to watch his React course, but sadly, I can't. May God bless you, Simon ❤

react is written in vanilla JS so you're much better off learning it first. Those libraries are tools that make things easier but you are trapped in doing things their way.
