offshore electric prop 55mm 1/4 pitch gets this boat to go 50-52 on 8s. Please.
Remember you have to adjust your trim tabs more dry to get top speed. The boat needs to be out of the water some. Stockboat runs 40-42mph. I know that sounds a bit disappointing but it was false advertising when they said 50+ on the box. I'm here to tell you no matter how much you adjust the trim tabs you will NOT get 50+ out the stock boat with stock prop. If you want to go even faster i highly recommend the ABC 2115 prop its a 53.88mm 1/5 pitch high rake brass gas boat prop that will push your boat between 55-62 mph depending on what batteries you use. Please be advice you need to run the boat rather dry or more out the water on the trim tabs to reach these speeds. Both props do not cause your motor or ESC to get hot temps. They are about a 15 degree difference which is nothing. You can touch the motor with your hands after you finish and the esc and they are luke warm. The abc prop will make your controller beep more but if you put in bigger batteries that won't happen.

Yea I agree that it is disappointing to see everyone's boat not go as fast as advertised. Thats a big boat and needs more power from stock to make it go as advertised! @@VetteWay2Fast if. If You want to go faster then 50-52mph i highly recommend the ABC 2115 its a 53.88mm 1.5 pitch high rake prop. You can get it from bonzi sports and you need to get the reducer with it should cost you about $70 with sharpening and balance. On the stock setup it will give you 55-57 but if change the connectors on the stock esc to QS8 and go for some smc 100c or greater you can get 67+ running dry. It gives you low cooling temps also but the run time is stil 5-7 min with 5000 mah lol

@@lakelifercboats thank you my friend. When you're out at the lake at night is no matter how clear the water is you can. Barely see the light. I like the idea from those real boats with lights on the back but they needed brighter lights. All you see is a blue dot back there.

@@lakelifercboats you're absolutely right but it's probably just going to pull more current from the battery and the weak electronics 😅. In order to get this boat to go over 45mph you have to run it completely dry. Its sad man but i still like it due to the self writing.
