You missed a sin for the fact that Garnet's future vision should've let her know the possibility of Steven and Connie getting stuck in the bubble Also, to be fair, Steven was the one trying desperately to impress her and get them out of their situation, so her point of him not knowing what he's doing at least stands

@@Kameron347 Which is why my comment makes sense. Garnet reveals later in the series that she has future vision and, for all intents and purposes, can see the future. Revealing future vision into the equation opens a can of worms, just like what I point out in my comment.

First of all, Garnet isn't constantly using her future vision, we know her doing it is a conscious desicion, and second, Garnet can only see futures SHE would think are possible. She can't see futures that involve things that are outside her knowledge (which is why she couldn't predict Steven sacrificing himself to go to homeworld) so this early in the series I don't think she would've thought Steven would be able to summon a protective bubble (specially since it's the only power without a confirmation of having belonged to Rose before, so it could be Steven only)
