I am mad that they're still sticking to the same doggy knee setup. Like bro you could've literally given him double jointed knees and made the thigh inside of the shorts slightly telescoping so they can clear the bottom of the shorts and move around them. Instead you have Luffy the thin lanky dude with worse articulation than some guy that are 5 times as bulky or in thick armor. And I get why it's still that way too: once Bandai gets a mold/body setup for a figure, they're always super hesitant on making a new one. But come on... Luffy's a dud. Goddamn Yamato has double jointed knees and you can't even see hers under normal circumstances.

Used to watch the guy constantly, now he’s irritating the hell out of me with almost every review he brings out, not that I’ve watched many over the last year. But the ones I did, whoof, didn’t know the guy could get more arrogant in his reviews than he already was.Almost no figure is good enough for the guy, it’s almost like he doesn’t like action figures at all. If he ever gets to releasing his own brand of figures (like in 2063 or something), they’ll better be perfect, I’m just saying.

He also will complained that loose joints are terrible, but at the same time say that joints being too tight are unacceptable, like bro. I watched him take a point off of the S.H.Figuarts King Cold figure just because it makes some noise when you pose it, as if that matters😑

Another thing about this figure is it's mold can be mostly reused for an after Gear 3 Luffy when he shrinks and becomes a little chibi Luffy after using Gear 3. I hope we see the updated leg articulation on a future Luffy. It doesn't bother me that it breaks up the sculpt. As long as it actually benefits the figure.
