Do not change what you read! Read what you enjoy. You are reading for you, no one else. If you are reading to appease others then it's a chore, not a pleasurable self care thing. If people don't like what you read then they can find someone who they connect with better. Your channel is my favorite! I love all your videos especially news and stuff video! When I was younger, I would have a plan to clean my room and then my mom would be like "clean your room!" and I'd be like ughhh now I can't do it!

Super Space Chick I'm like that too. I do things I want to do, not what others tell me to do. There is nothing wrong with being aware of what you like and don't. Don't change who you are for anyone. I think that comes with age and maturity like you so nicely put in your video. I'm 31, I'm not changing who I am or what I enjoy to make anyone happy. It's my life.

You should do what makes you happy. I follow people largely for personality, content is a bonus. I mean that’s why I like your unboxings even if I have the box because I like to see your reaction/opinion. But seriously I hope you continue to do whatever makes you feel best, if you get tired of things that fans like, that’s okay. If you enjoy doing longer videos because you are passionate and have a lot to say, that’s okay. I just view longer vids as a visual podcast and put them on when I’m tinkering around. You come first. If people don’t like three vids in a week they can always pick and choose. You do you! I hope you have a lovely Christmas!

also, I actually really prefer it when people don't ask for comments, or to subscribe. I like when there are questions but I feel like asking people to subscribe or like is weird and that if the person really does like it, they will do those things naturally! Maybe it stems from being 24 and not liking being told what to do lmao. But those are my thoughts on that!

I agree that the narrator of the Raven Cycle series is just... not the best, haha. There are some voices he does that really fit well, obviously, since he's a southern man, but... he just really can't do female voices at all. It's disappointing, considering how amazing a bunch of other Audible titles have been and considering how amazing the Raven Cycle books are. A bad fit, unfortunately, in my opinion. I feel like a female narrator would've done a bit better. So much of the series if from Blue's perspective, and it's much easier for a female to do male voices than vice versa. But oh well... they're still fun to listen to! But I am glad I'm listening to them as a re-read instead of the first time through, otherwise I think the bad voices and accents might be distracting at times, haha. ----- Edited to add: Don't ever feel the need to change what you read and stuff because of what someone else says! You read for your pleasure, and we're the ones who get to join in on conversations about what you read and enjoy. :) And don't worry about trying to make yourself ask for likes and subscriptions either. I feel like most of us here are already subscribed and if not, people on KZbin know how to do those things if they decide to, y'know? (Also, I love unboxings! I hope those don't go away!)

I am surprised people want to hear you say ‘like this video/subscribe to my channel’, because honestly, this always really annoys me. So I think that there will also be some who appreciate you nót doing that :) I’d say most youtubers are aware of the subscribe button and if they like you they’ll use it regardless.
