+William “The Dragonslayer” Schrimsher Because the orginal Kosoto gake is done at the same size of the grip: kuzushi on left, then attack by hooking his left leg. In this demonstration, tori feint the attack on his left side by 2-on-1 (quite different than the usual 2-on-1 as well), then swinging on his right and hooking by his right leg instead. Very clever feint by placing his left arm around the uke's neck and control it.

@@castielangelos87 but it's not the grip that determines the throw. It's whether you're sweeping the foot or hooking the knee. I reckon it's ko soto gake
