Be under no illusion, there's is only one way out of this mess. If every couple has just one child or less, we can reduce the global population from 8 billion to 2 billion in just two generations. This is not about selective breeding but about fairness for all living creatures on the planet and therefore also our own survival.

I’m sick of everyone thinking we’re doomed. I mean I do sometimes too but that’s not going to get us anywhere. It’s tough because the answer is both extremely complicated, but at the same time isn’t that complicated. The only thing making it complicated is that no one wants to cooperate or take any sort of action. Everyone (the public, the corporations, and the government) needs to work together to solve the problem we all caused together… and do the opposite of what we did to get here. Stop over consuming, stop buying stuff you don’t need, and stop being so wasteful. The other thing we need to do is get off our ass and demand change from our governments, starting locally. We can’t solve the problem alone, but if everyone does SOMEthing it can make a really big impact. So stop thinking what you do as an individual won’t make a difference! You have more power than you think!

@Ominousheat
@Ominousheat 3 ай бұрын
No. It's called physics doing what it does. Physics that has been initiated by greenhouse gases produced by fossil fuel driven human industry. Change the energy source to renewables and physics will also do what it always does. Your ' nature taking it's natural course ' comment is just an anthropogenic global warming denialist trope. It makes the inference that nothing can be done. Considering how well-understood the truth is you must know that what you are doing by invoking apathy is evil; considering the stakes.

Are they called Cyclones in the southern hemisphere because they revolve clockwise? Because in the northern hemisphere they turn counter-clockwise, and it's an unwieldy name calling them anticyclones, so that's probably why they're called hurricanes and typhoons here.

Global warming may have its warming affects by trapping more heat at the lower elevations which is the bad part but at least at the same time it also has some cooling effects for the globe as well like for example as of right now since the lower altitudes are trapping more heat and because the CO2 likes to mostly stay at lower the attitudes due to the CO2 being heavy weighted, the upper attitudes are also getting even colder than it where it should be at because less heat is escaping back up to space and when ever storm tracks are forming and the precipitation happens it brings some of that extra cold air that we missed out on meeting with the extra warm, temperatures that we are not supposed to have back down regulating the temperature to where it should be at in those cases. Second thing that is causing a cooling effect about global warming is because the water temperatures are slowly increasing, its also increasing cloud, cover to reflect more sunlight during the day and increasing precipitation and precipitation does not just have a cooling affect through evaporation, but it also absorbs the CO2 from the air, and giving it to the plants, trees and grass to take it away. And number three more fresh water from ice from the Arctic regions is being dumped in the ocean. The fresh water from the Arctic region in the ocean has a cooling effect because it is less dense than saltwater. When this fresh water mixes with the saltwater in the ocean, it reduces the overall density of the water, causing it to be less effective at absorbing heat. And there you have it.

Yes the earth is getting warmer which is conductive for tropical cyclone developments, however there are other external factors that also contribute to the developments/death of cyclones … Wind Shear, El Niño, La Niña, Jet streams etc, dry air. Wind shear is always the best enemy of cyclones, even with super warm sea surface temperatures the wind shear will always kill a storm

I remember when Professor Gray at the Weather Channel back in the 80s would predict the hurricanes for the coming year and how bad they would be. Every year he was so wrong because the reality was it was nothing more than him guessing. Living in the tropics all my life since the 60s, I see the same old thing every year, a lot of fear mongering and prophesies of doom and gloom over and over. This year we had an early hurricane in July that reached Cat 5 and suddenly a picture was painted of many more to come just like it, yet so far things have been relatively quiet since that first one. Just stop with the nonsense please, God is in control and we all get to watch, nothing more.

I know about these tornadoes! I've seen my share, and been close enough o have bee in the right place a the wrong time.Exiting a store just this summer, seeing an EF3 being born, Father's Day last year, 3 small tornadoes right in front of myself, and my son, an EF5 being born in a parking lot, and 5-6 years ago we had 4 three of the four were down town, and it had enough energy to have a small one up town. It took down 3 buildings that were, and the town was we need to take them down as they are in bad shape. The tornadoes took those down! And now 2 years in a row, there have been tornado warnings for all of New England, yes climate change is here! New England doesn't get tornadoes allover the states!

Part of the problem is that the biggest forces in climate change are nature. The sun, our own moon and sea currents, the rotation and tilt of the earth, and the rate of rotation and direction of our planets core. These natural weather engines can be found around our planet going back million and millions of years. There is nothing we can do or change in planetary engines. Does the human presents have an effect? Yes, we do. However, human effects over long-term climate change are minimal in the greater schemes of our world's effects of billion year old impacts. Can we affect our part? Yes, we can. But don't be sucked in by extremism brought on by fear of what we can not change. So keep that in mind.

Seeing that the state only wants to use the fifth dimension for its power purposes, I propose THE Star way Project as explained on my Facebook. Because feasibility studies have shown it is possible to build a over 100 km high pyramid structure with a magnetic catapult system (Railgun) to shoot just about everything very fast into space. But the problem is that the world would have to work together on such a project. This would mean we could build cheap space stations live on the moon, Mars or do terraforming. But if the Chinese could build such a project alone. They could hold the whole world for $$$$$$$$$

Lost of (????)L daily as a form of vapor of water from the ground,has a big effect to rise or reduce of temperature by veiling the rays of the sun,and decreasing the earth's radiation... Vapor condensation creates clouds that veil the sun totally,earth and atmosphere ... This a mount of water vapor became produced from(seas and oceans)... This means,the percentage of water vapor which produced from the ground and the (seas&oceans )is difficult... This means the pressures of the air in the atmosphere are different too... This case means the change in the directions of winds,which some called climate change and some called global warming, and then NINO and then LANINA, and this year they called global cooling... What what we could do is make inflatable artificial mountains that are approximately 3 km off the ground and then all of the hot air would rise to the top of the mountain and it would turn into snow and if we made a million artificial mountains that were three kilometers each we would have a new Arctic and if we wanted to we could make the artificial mountains the size of the entire planet and we can make the entire planet turn into a giant ice age

Occurring of rains, snow, storms, and floods at time and in unexpected places, confirms my theory(the change in the directions of winds)which must be balanced... How to reduce the heat of the earth and atmosphere? We must supply the earth with a natural cooling places... Results: ---------- 1- To balance the water vapor which produces between the( ground)and the(seas and oceans )... 2- To balance the pressures of the air in the atmosphere... 3- To balance the directions of winds which caused the climate change... 4- To control upon the storms and harricans... 5- To revive the the first theory of climate change (dynamic horizontal movement). 6- To balance the percentage of gases forming the atmosphere. Haven't experienced any "extreme" weather where I live in nearly a decade. Not sure what every one is on about. It is obvious what they are attempting though.

You got a good spot 👍 Here in western Europe we had massive fires and floods over the last few years, locally I avoided those but I did experience 40 degrees c a few summers back, and winters have become extremely damp even changing typical seasonal cycles, which messes with my garden veg choices. Not looking forward to the Atlantic conveyor shutting down, we Wil become like Scandinavia temps wise.
