Truely amazing lecture series. I love every bit of it. If I could suggest anything, consider this: A 3 brane with holes in it. Something like a 3 d fishing net (mostly empty space). Color it red. Another (blue) 3 brane just like the red one but interleaved through out. Every vertex of the red brane connects through a string to the nearest vertex of the blue brane. Some springs or spongy material (the matmoss) between the branes provides a bit of pressure. Some rules apply to allow a small bit of motion.If a cosmic ray strikes a string or a node then a wave may travel in 2 opposite directions, twisting a red string around a blue one. (translation rules, etc) As the two twists travel far apart each maintains its twist in the two fields (which is why there MUST be two (or more)) branes here.) The twists provide opposite forces (charges) which will be attracted to each other. Also each twist provides a new deformation in the 2 fields which though weak, acts exactly like gravity (there's your "5th" dimension compaction).... --David A. Elm

Renormalization should only happen when the terms involved align with vanishing points? Then because parallels do not interact, it's OK to ignore them. (No, because it's a property of synchronous radials orthogonal to the v-p parallels that tie radial length and reciprocal mass to a particular quantum bubble) I'd like to invoke a Terry Prachett theme and start from a universal rewrite of the laws of nature, because it's not only a great maths technique to reverse the operations of natural connections, it's educational to discover why perceptions, (and magical thinking), do not determine natural consequences, only cultural adaptations to circumstances. General Observational Decisions, as a central human practice, rely on a matchup between politics and perceptions invested in the control of others, by adopted conventions and not much rationality, in a reality that changes slowly. It's all about trust. Science exists to establish trust, but is then demoted on the scale of threat because it is successful in destabilizing unprincipled policies. "I think therefore I am", in time and space, is a diminished statement of mental positioning meant to fit individual perceptions of universal unity, (but Proffessor Susskind will fill out the practical details).

In fact dimensionless change = constant motion subject to Newtonian first law of motion. In classical physics, renormalization is not relevant since the deterministic history and future of change is relevant. But quantum mechanics takes away such very small deterministic histories and futures and substitutes them with renormalization. Even in topological series of complex changes, we realise that such very small classical metrics, surfaces and feedbacks are relevant through infinitesimal. And complexity has worked with them from the unity to duality to trinity to quadrality up to quintaple infinitismal degrees of freedom whose dynamical relationships and dimensional interactions is analysed through permutations of change.

Because p is momentum and momentum is mass*velocity. Energy is (mass*velocity^2)/2, so to get those units you square momentum and divide by mass and by 2. (mass*velocity)^2/(2*mass) = (mass*velocity^2)/2 = energy

if someone considers that for the existence of gravity the earth must go arround the sun to complete orbitof 365 days, then the value in seconds of the value of the gravity of earth divided by its mass will give an inferior limit of mass for which the gravity exists as a bending of space time structure. so if you calculate that the inferior limit of gravity per mass will be 5,..*10^-17 kg or the equivalent in mass for 5 joules.this way i can not believe thath gravity will have effect over the subatomic particles or at the quantum level, but if you consider the weight of the higgs in kg then for the mass equivalent to appear from it it will be necessary 300000000 higgs bosons to give the equivalent for the limit inferior of mass to appear and so to exist gravity.
