Supertío Nadal (Toni y Rafa)

Nereis8: We all could use a good dosis of Rafa and Toni being funny and happy. "Superuncle Nadal" (thanks to merikob for helping me with this :) When Rafa was little Toni told him that he was a big football star and he played in AC Milan, where they called him "Natali". One day he went to see him playing and he saw the reality, that his uncle pretty much sucked at football xD. When Rafa saw his mom he told her (0:22) "Ey, Toni is not that good". After that Toni had to tell him he wasn't a huge star as he had said and the story changed. (lol @ 1:05) Rafa: "I think where he won most was playing cards on the bench" 2:10 Toni told Rafa that after some time people in Milan started to think he was a really bad played and they wanted him to leave the team, but Toni didn't want to. 2:32 One day the coach told him he was going to play again. When Toni was going out from the lockers he saw a banner. It said "Natali te queremos" ('Natali we love you' / 'Natali we want' - in Spanish 'querer' means want but also can mean love). Toni was very happy because people loved him again. When he was on the field he saw the banner completely and what it really said, which was "Natali te queremos matar" ('Natali we want to kill you'), because he was an awful player. During that match they threw things at him. Until that day Rafa thought his uncle was a phenomenon. 3:34 Besides that Toni had told him he had won the French Tour five times and that he had played a few years in Manchester United. During the French Tour he told Rafa that he was very smart and he had a little engine in his bike. He only pedal when he was close to finish.

Rafa was so innocent. Toni reminds me of my uncles, never lost the opportunity to do some pranks to their nieces and nephews.

thank you thank you Nereis8. So funny. This also reminds me of a funny incident during Nadal's childhood, when Toni said Nadal that he clouds will rain, in a match where Nadal seems to be losing to an opponent. So, it rained(as it was cloudy that day) and nadal tried to regain composure, and told Toni that he can defeat the opponent. He was ready but it rained again when he was playing well. So, nadal went back to Toni to tell him to stop the rain.

When Rafa was a child his uncle told him stories about how good he was at football. what Rafa said at the time you are interested in was: He (his uncle) didn't want to play football matches at that time because Milan supporters hate him. So at that time he decided to stay next the stove instead of playing.
