Tanks create space, and flanking does that. Besides, Ball also thrives in the enemy's backline and can easily 1v2 supports.

@@e.d.5766 I think it's about the ability to take and hold space. Hog's breather allows him to take a certain amount of focus fire without needing resources from his healers. I agree that he's the least tanky of the tanks, but I also don't think he's quite a DPS.

what makes a tank is its ability to make the enemy team turn their brains on and pay attention. that's honestly why youll see that the best tank players are the ones that can think outside the box on tank. cause they're the best at playing unexpectedly. so a sigma with his team is pretty hard to kill but can still be dealt with pretty easily as far as tanks go so it's best to go on a slight off angle so that you can not only do damage more effectively with your balls but you can also *attract enemy attention* away from your teams dps that are trying to deal damage. so as a roadhog the same thing still applies but this time you don't have a shield whatsoever, so you need to play around cover and sometimes the best cover Is the enemy team's back. Your 1shot potential makes it so your constantly a threat worthy of enemy *attention* and your large health pool makes it so that you can handle that attnetion just a bit better. ( in reality you dont wanna be in the ememy teams buttcheeks too much you want to offangle like a sigma does but you have no personal shield so you have to play around whatever cover you got. also you have a large health pool to *manage* damage better do not take damage for no reason. fighting better players while playing roadhog is a dance.)
