the actual effective health of Wolverine is 583.33, it used to be 600. The formula to calculate: HP/(1-DMG REDUCTION), where DAMAGE REDUCTION is a fraction. So 350/(1-0.4)=350/0.6=583.33

correct, but let me out nerd you just for fun: the ability is active for 3 seconds and has a 12-second cooldown, meaning it takes 15 seconds for a full cycle (3 active + 12 inactive). 3/15 = 0.2 this means the ability is active 20% of the time and inactive 80% of the time. since you've already calculated that with 40% damage reduction, the character has 583.33 effective health. without the ability, the character's effective health is simply their raw HP, which is 350. we can find the average health that he will have with the following: average health=(active Fraction * health (ability active)) + (inactive fraction * health (ability inactive)) before patch average health = (0.2 * 600) + (0.8 * 300) = 360 after patch average health = (0.2 * 583.33) + (0.8 * 350) = 396.67 (note this is assuming you're spamming e nonstop)

i just realised that the actual length of undying animal is 5 seconds with a 16 seconds cooldown i'm not typing out the calculations again but it's 405.58 after patch 371.4 before patch In conclusion you're more survivable on average i.e when you're just roaming about looking for a target but less when you're in direct combat and everyone is shooting you

for those who don't understand the Psylocke change it wasn't a bug, took me a while to understand but basically in current S0 Psylocke if someone is mag or hulk bubbled in her ult it would just ignore them and not even try to attack them (so no it didn't hit people through bubbles cause it never saw them). This new change means the ult now see's these bubbles and will attempt to break them and then attack the person inside. its basically a ult buff. BUT they also made strange shield and magneto shield count as entities in her ult so it will waste slashes on trying to break a strange shield as well. hope this helps

If Wolverine has 40% damage reduction with 350 health, the skills he gets hit with does 60% of their original damage. To use the example of a 600 damage attack, multiply 600 by .6, to get 360. Wolverine would still die (without passive) by 10 HP, so his effective health is effectively anywhere from 590-583 (If you wanna be super specific it's 583) but that is not including passive. With passive (which at max rage you get 300 overshield) his health jumps to 883-890. So effectively, his in-combat HP with passive reaches up to 883 at max.

@@maxxvii2037 Turns out that's not the only way to deal with a character ult* in the entire game, it's just one of the easier ones. You can also just focus fire targets, go for one-shots on the squishies, use your own luna ult, or wait it out. Oh, and Moon Knight's ult can kill through it as well.

Cuz his "only good ability" is busted with no counterplay. My ranked games, whether I win or lose, always have one support with far more deaths than the other, because Jeff keeps ulting them and throwing them off the map. That support can't do ANYTHING, unless its a Luna who's forced to pop her ult. His ult wasn't even nerfed, it was just given a cap on vertical range because it was frankly idiotic that he could eat people so high up off the ground. So deserved, for maining a troll character.

The kick and sprint is huge. You can be mid to clos range effectively now. You get hip fire, head shot, then kick kill annd follow up on another target then headshot grapple kick, kill, or reverse, grapple, kick then headshot.
