I had a prefab log home delivered from NC to CO. Arrived after spending the night in WY. It was to be unloaded in a remote place. I took as far as I could and a backhoe got me the rest of the way.

Well now you see what I do for a living. That is one of my crane crews that I work with everyday. Sometimes we get put into the situation you find yourself in here but it's what I've done for 35-years and prefer to do over hauling freight. The hardest thing to do is delivering bridge segments to jobsites where we are 16'-ft wide mostly to right side, and we have to back up to a mile or more on tight two-lane roads both straight and curvy with construction equipment on both sides and we do this by ourselves blind-sided with no assistance all the way to the crane. But what you are doing in this video is what I do everyday in my truck which is much larger than yours and mind you I only have one human eye as I lost my right eye in an explosion in 1986 and here I am in 2017 and still doing what I do best.

Would've liked to have seen the load removed and how u got out of there. That drop was definitely not for rookies. Narrow steep road, lots of mud, and a dozen pull. New truck? That would've been a pain is right. Truckers like u make it come together though. Good job!

can go you one better got to the job site and they were pulling one owner operator through the mud, the dozer was a D8, mud was a high as the frame rails. they got him on solid ground, the fuel tanks were torn, lost all his fuel. air and electric torn, tires flat and the guy on the dozer says go in as far as you can and we'll hook up and drag you in and out. told them none of us are going in, he said he'll call the company we are leased to, our company told them if the drivers don't want to go in we don't want our trailers in either. we all pulled 4 axle lowboys, the consignee was mad they unloaded us on the road. our company sued for damages to tractor and trailer. thanks Dan, pull toy here.

It's my office, it's my home, it's my wife's enemy cuz I spend more time with her then I do with the love of my life. I left the industry 9 years ago but I have to admit I do remember the great times and the bad... but I have to think.... All the good people I met along the way keeps me thinking I should be back!! one tip :) you can rig the suspension on the truck so you dump the air in your last drive axle. that transfer wight to the other one giving you much more traction. need to have the power divider locked of course :) when slippery, icey and so on. much help. why its not a factory option in america as here i dont know. but a shop should not use much time getting a valve put in :)
