We used to leave our car at someone's house near the airport who looked after cars when people went on holiday. He used to take us to the airport in a MK2 Transit minibus like this and it had the 2.0 Pinto engine. It just kept going and remember how bouncy the speedometer was. Really rare vans here in the UK now.

Great work. I fitted a set of Transit Custom removable rear seats to my 78 Ex German Firevan for my children to sit in. They were good as all the seatbelts, etc were built in. And we call Bondo 'Filler'.

Thank you! I was considering the newer transit rear seats aswell, but a breaker in Norway wants over £800 for a rear bench seat. So the s-max seats that was a total of £70 for all 4 was my best option. And I also think that having 4 proper single seats will make this van stand out from the crowd, also considering the future plans for it.😉

That was funny the bondo ( or filler in the uk ) moment , you speak the most fantastic English better than a lot of the English so don’t knock yourself i can’t remember my name half the time now I’m 56 years old 😂 your doing a beautiful job on the van my friend I used to have a fire engine the exact same but mine was a 1972 enjoying the vids thanks 👍

I buy almost all parts from Motomobile in Germany. They have alot of parts for all classic fords.:)

Spackel... you mena bodyfiller i believe that Bondo is a brand, and seatbelt then youse the original seatbelts buckles from The Transit,

It's easier to use the original Flor maunted buckels and easy to change seats in the future

Yes I think the correct term is filler..;) Got total brainfreeze.. About the seat belts, due to the size of the s-max seats, they cover up the original mounting holes for the buckles. And it seems that s-max belts are a direct fit.:)
