Reverse Flash has motives similar to the Joker, except more directed toward oen person than for himself. He wants to see the Flash at his best so he does his best to get the Flash stronger by any means necessary. No matter the reason, this always been central in any version of him. Its probably the worst time of villain out there, no matter how many times you stop him you;re only doing what he wants, then when you peak and think you done good enough, he rips out the rug from under you killing the very thing you fought so hard to protect. To get up and still be a hero after that is virtually crippling.

I agree. Zoom's (Hunter Zolomon) motive is to make everyone better by pushing them to their breaking point. His view is that if they survive they will be better for the experience. The Reverse Flash's (RF) motive is to ruin Barry's life. By altering history, RF is able to remove any happiness from Barry's life. As an example, at one point Barry had a best friend, but The RF deleted that friend from existence so Barry grew up friendless.

ManiacX1999 Professor Zoom (Eobard Thawne) does NOT have the lenses in his eye-holes of his mask. The mask is the same as the Flash, with just holes for where the eyes are. Also, in the earlier comics, his bolt was going down from right to left, like the Flash. (But changed later on newer comics). Zoom (Hunter Zolomon) has always had his bolt go down from Left to Right, and has the Lenses on the eye-holes of the mask.,

they're the same person. when Eobard was created he was Professor zoom. but after he got locked up hunter zoloman took the the name but dropped the professor. he just went by zoom. then after hunter zoloman is returned to being a cripple and his super villain days are over Eobard returns and uses the name reverse flash because hunter basically took his first name. some people still call him professor zoom because when they grew up that was his name but ever since hunter became a cripple he went by reverse flash. after flashpoint Eobard is gone because thomas wayne killed him. in new 52 Daniel west(black Wally's father) is the reverse flash. he was on the suicide squad and he died on a mission which was revealed in rebirth. in rebirth the button crossover is coming back and the comedians button was able to bring back Eobard just like how white Wally came back. Eobard came back and knew everything that happened in flashpoint and went after batman and after he beat the shit out of him he touched the button, disappeared and then came back all fucked up and died. Dr. Manhattan killed him. but Eobard will come back again in the button because he is confirmed to be the villain in the flash title after the button wraps up.

This origin telling is completely wrong! First off, he didn't ''dye the suit'' the suits colours changed during the experiment to stimulate the speed force particles. Secondly he didn't hate the Flash at first. He loved him. He admired him so much that he eventually wanted to become him, by murdering him and taking his place. He was a predatory stalker which is what made him so interesting. Eventually he realised if he killed The Flash he would not gain his powers. That is when he simply hated him and decided to simply make his life a misery instead. CLASS DISMISSED!

Another fascinating fact about Zoom is that he doesn't have the classic super-speed, he "slows down the time" around him. I'm not sure exactly how that works (I'm not sure the authors knows exactly neither ^^), but with that he really is the reverse of Flash, his antithesis.

Sandy McTire yes it can. DC just has to actually market their other heroes, instead of those 3 all the time. Superman was always more popular than Batman up until the Tim Burton movie, and now he is more popular than superman. Put The Flash or any other Super Hero in a good movie(I do mean GOOD!) and watch people change their minds!

***** Well that would make it DC's Big 4. DC's Big 3 are Superman,Batman and Wonder Woman and many people says they represent something. Superman = Hope Wonder Woman = Peace or Unity Batman = Justice So unless you can find something that would represent Flash then that would be cool

Sandy McTire True to an extent, Superman has been in way more media, the Flash has had a few TV shows and some animated movies but no where near as much as superman or batman. Which is why he isn't as popular, DC has to put more effort when it comes to their Super heroes, Just look at Marvel. No one knew or cared who Iron man was or Thor. But after a few "good" movies they have become popular super heroes. And That's my whole point. The Flash can become more Popular then he his now.

Imagine if Reverse Flash was EXACTLY like he is, except he went backwards INCREDIBLY slow. So, Evil/bad, Yellow suit, Red lightning trail when he moves, Red lightning symbol on his chest, and black around the symbol, goes backwards, and moves EXTREMELY slow, like 1 mile per eon. (one eon is, in science, a billion years.) Barry Allen is, good/kind, Red Suit, Yellow lightning trail when he moves, Yellow lightning symbol on his chest, and white around the symbol, goes forward, and moves INSANELY fast, ya know, like he said that he can run faster than time.
