Timingchameleon Last I knew, he had actually died from the Legacy virus. But, I think due to an event called Necrosha X, they brought him, and a lot of other heroes and villains back to life. Not 100% sure though, I haven't gotten that far in the comics.

Xenoriddley They did, but for most it was only temporary. And by the end of the story line -- one in which the Black Queen of the Hellfire Club resurrected these dead mutants in order to sacrifice them in a magic ritual that would give her God-like powers -- most of them, including Pyro, returned to their graves.

I always thought Pyro had a unique spin on "fire powers". He actually has the true definition of pyrokinesis. Too bad he was killed off in the comics & another of my favs from the Brotherhood, the Blob was depowered. I hope they both return to form in the comics. I hope to see these two characters in the MCU, but done right this time around.

I think that Pyro would initially humiliate the Torch by turning his own flames against him. Then in a rematch, pyro would discover Johnny Storm's lesser known powers; the ability to Absorb heat! Johnny would snuff out any existing fires by absorbing the heat and stopping them, then, without flaming on, beat the crap out of Pyro with his bare hands. It would be a real twist on his powers....

Why were the fantastic 4's names on mutant gravestones at 2:02? The Fantastic 4 are not mutants they are mutates a different type of super-human entirely, the key difference being you are only a mutant if you are born with powers, mutates get changed later on by an accident or something.
