Here are a few fun facts about Bucky. 1. His death was used as an example of why the marvel universe has few kid sidekicks. No hero wanted to endanger the life of a child in the same way Bucky's was. 2.Because Bucky's death was one of the longest lasting comic book deaths until he was brought back in 2005, there became a rule known as "The Bucky Clause". According to this rule, no one stays dead in comics, except Bucky, Jason Todd, and Uncle Ben. Ironically, Bucky and Jason later came back, so that rule is almost pointless now.

i think the winter soldier is one the most tragic and compelling villains/antiheroes. his backstory is so fascinating and so tragic. once he was cap's friend and later he was turned into brainwashed killer who was obligated to fight against his old comrade. that is so powerful and i love how they handled the winter soldier and his relationship with cap in the movie. sebastian stan looked so badass with his long hair and metal arm. he did an outstanding job portraying brainwashed bucky and even though he didnt have much lines he left such a deep impact solely with his eyes. i cant wait to see more in cap 3

In a nutshell, the Winter Soldier is very similar to the Red Hood. Both were partners to heroes (Bucky to Captain America, Jason Todd (Robin) to Batman), but near death experiences both ended up with them becoming formidable enemies of their former friends.

Steve Rogers can be killed, but he still has amazing physical abilities which are beyond that of even the most physically fit human. I think what I'm trying to say is that even if Buckey was at the top physical peak of human condition, and even with a bionic arm, he is still physically less superior to Captain America. For example, if Captain were to punch TWS, the only way the TWS can block that punch is with his bionic arm, or he would risk injuring or losing that human body part. If that makes any sense...I'm not saying Cap has amazing super strength, but it is still beyond that of the strongest human.

You see, this is what I wanted from the movie. That's not to say that the movie is terrible, because there are things that I like about it. But it's not often that a movie names itself after a SECONDARY villain. The Winter Soldier himself had very little screen time, and did not have the looming presence in the movie like he did in the trailers. Might as well not have called the movie 'The Winder Soldier,' or even included him as a villain to begin with.
