I have some questions: 1. I’ve been rejected from about 50 interviews. (In the last one they found the excuse that I could have given more examples. There must have been 20 to 30 perfectly given interviews with no feedback at all. The feedback I got from a lot of them is that they went for another candidate). 2. Before the pandemic it only took around 4 interviews to secure a new role 3. I went to a top business school and have half a decade of experience working for blue chip companies 4. *I’ve been given the advice by some corporate operatives that I could still somehow secure a role at a top company even if I’ve been unemployed for half a dozen years* *Is it discrimination? Is it bias because there is money involved? I would just like to know what is going on as I’m being forced to retire early abroad/take a career break in the summer*.

I found this video, 3 days before I had an operations supervisor interview. I studied hard and was able to remember some of the video. I then advanced to a 2nd interview. I watched these videos with anticipation for my supervisor interview. I took what was shown, put my own spin on it and answered my questions 10/10. Walked out of my last interview feeling 100% confident I got the job. Long story short, I got the job. Literally, every question was similar to what was shown here. If you're in the position to interview for a promotion, do it right the first time. Study this and become confident in what you can bring to the table. Truly a blessing having technology that can help in specific situations. Remember, life is short, can calculated risks and be happy.

The reason I came across this channel is because of a horrendous interview I recently had. Basically, I work in a department in which recently a supervisor position became vacant, I applied, and shortly after I was scheduled for an interview. I was confident my interview would be easy-breezy since we were all coworkers and got along well, BUT boy was I wrong! Needless to say, I totally BOMBED the interview! I was so embarrassed. At work I kept a professional demeanor despite my internal feelings of embarrassment. As the days went by, I evaluated the entire situation and came to the conclusion that it was completely my fault, I should have prepared myself. I felt upset because I truly felt that I was the perfect person for the job. I mean, I knew the ins and outs of the department, I have supervisor experience, plus my entire team depended on me for day-to-day operations. So, I went out on a limb and emailed the hiring manager, I basically pleaded (professionally) that she give me another opportunity to interview. I made up some off-the-wall excuse for being horrible at the initial interview. And luckily, she accepted! I was excited because the interview was set for Monday morning therefore, I had the entire weekend to prepare. Friday evening after work I buckled down, sat on my couch laptop in hand and went to town searching the internet for a video that could help me, I was determined to ace this interview no matter the result! Let's just say that Richard McMunn is a freaking GOD! The first video that popped up was his SUPERVISOR Interview Questions and ANSWERS! (How to PASS your Supervisor Interview!). I studied and memorized it adding in a few of my own experiences and qualities, but I didn't steer away from his script much at all. I typed the questions and answers I prepared for myself in a document, I downloaded it to my phone, and practiced every single opportunity I had. I practiced talking to myself in the car while driving to work, in the parking lot, even while sitting at my desk waiting for 9am (interview time.) 8:55 am comes around and as I am walking into the interview, I noticed that there were more people in the room than there were in the first interview. My nerves immediately went into hyper mode, now instead of two managers there was a total of two managers and three leads, I was so nervous! But I felt prepared and confident. Once the initial chit-chat was over, those managers started shooting off questions as quick as possible! They asked a total of 5 questions of which I had already aggressively studied and rehearsed thanks to this video - I mean I kept KNOCKING THEM OUT OF THE PARK, no hesitation, clear answers, no BS this time, I was serious! After the question-and-answer torture was complete I could tell by the silence in the room that my panel was shocked! One of the managers commented, "WHERE WAS THIS PERSON ALL ALONG?" It was a wonderful and gratifying feeling knowing that I had gotten my point across, I was able to convey and describe my professional experience and work qualities to a panel in a professional and clear manner. As I was walking out, I just couldn't help to remember that the first interview felt like it took an eternity, it was torture, I was not prepared, I went in assuming that it was going to be easy, but it turned out to be a lesson well learned. Anyway, I few days after my second interview, my now manager came to me and expressed how excited she was to move forward with an offer, and the same day I was contacted by HR! Richard's KZbin video taught me the importance of organizing thoughts by highlighting qualities and using clear phrases to answer questions in a complete and professional manner. I cannot be more thankful for this video! Thanks to every single person that was involved in creating it!

@@GreenBanana675 while the interview went VERY well and I was able to get moved on into later rounds, I ultimately did not get the job because of a case study they wanted us to do. Excel is a helluva thing. They said it was very close on who they wanted to ultimately pick and my answers were great… But darn that case study. The interview questions they asked me were pretty much in line with Richard’s questions. I have never felt so prepared for an interview as I did for the supervisor interview. I actually started watching this video as soon as I applied so my answers flew off the top of my head. I wrote down these questions in OneNote in had my answers underneath. I would watch this video over and over again for a future supervisor role! Richard - I am a subscriber for life
