Flash should have his own movie in the 2000s or early 2010s!!! He is character with so much potencial for the big screen, but unfortunayely WB doesn't trust in this potencial (besides his TV Show being the most sucessful thing on the CW for almost a decade) and they prefer to transform his solo movie into a "Batman Into the Batverse" combined with "What If Man of Steel version"... Such a shame for the first Flash movie ever be that corporative mess.

I think if they had taken story concepts and casting decisions from the Flash show, then it would have made for a good Flash movie. Especially if they used that JLU episode "Flash and Substance" as inspiration. Simple premise. Origin story that introduces us to Flash and his powers. Set up his romance. His main cast. Set up his rogues gallery. Because of his powers he defeats them quickly. At the end, Captain Cold, Trickster, Mirror Master, and Captain Boomerang all team up to take on Flash. Maybe Wally West finds out he's Flash. Post credit scene would be Wally trying to recreate the same lab experiment and giving himself powers.

There’s so many amazing stories included here and truthfully it’s very sad to hear about how many times they had a really good script and even a strong plan for the movie and they ended up losing it all because the Warner bros company wanted something different! Company executives really are the hardest people to please! It’s also a true shame that Justice League Mortal didn’t work out especially since it sounded like a very good movie and a great way to help more people become familiar with the characters, and even set more movies! Thanks so much for all the incredible work you put into this video! Well done! I’m very glad that we did end up getting a Flash movie and it certainly had some cool moments in it and I loved seeing Keaton as Batman again, but it still had a few problems in it too! The story was very roughly put together and it had more than a few jokes that I didn’t like and there were some moments that I just couldn’t wrap my mind around. At the same time though after all the trials and tribulations I’ve heard about, I’m truly grateful that we got a movie as good as we did! Thanks again for all your hard work on this video!

*UPDATE!!!!!* it will now be released June 23rd 2023 after the Warner/Discovey merger and now with Ezra being a basket case, the future is now uncertain if he will still be in it, after positive early test screenings Warner Brothers were very optimistic about green-lighting a sequel at the moment. @@srstriker6420 If the DCEU have started with the Nolan's Batman trilogy, David Goyer's Flash and Man of Steel the scenario today would have been so different to the DC movies. And would make sense because David Goyer wrote the 3 Batman movies, he wrote Man of Steel and he wrote the Flash movie and was gonna direct as well, so if the DCEU have started there would have been pretty solid actually, much more solid than what we have today...

Back in the 90s through the 00s they only adapted Wally's version to sync better to what was going on at the comics (since Barry was dead at the time). Wity time and Barry's return, writers where on a dilemma about Flash, with Barry being the one with the simplest origin, but Wally being the more likeable and memorable.

Honestly, in my opinion, I'm not sure any of these directors would have worked for a Flash movie. You see, I went back over recent movies that involved speed: X-Men Days of Future Past, Avengers Age of Ultron, Over The Hedge, Sonic the Hedgehog (2020), and even someone mentioned how the movie Clockstoppers seems to follow this trope. And the trope being that when going superspeed, time freezes and you can have all the fun. But now that feels just lazy but then I looked back at other movies like Fast and Furious and three others which I'll reveal shorty. And then it hit me. Flash's speed is something that needs to feel like you're in a race, but you're not. So if I was the studio, who wanted to hire the right people for a Flash movie, it's gonna be either Brad Bird or The Wachowskis. I mean seriously, why hasn't anyone thought of them earlier. I mean after seeing The Incredibles, I thin I finally understand how Flash is meant to be. The character Dash is literally fast, but not in the fast at we see. Because unlike other films, we actually follow his movements, especially in the water chase scene with the drone shooting at him. Then there's the Wachiwskis, who we all know from The Matrix, but that's not the film that I'm gonna explain, despite it playing and importance to their filmography. But the film being Speed Racer. Now say what you want about the film, but you have to admit the the race and action sequences hold up. Just by the way we follow the racers on their driving, it's super crazy but consistent with their speed. We follow with them during their race. Even in the slow-mo moments where it only hold for a mere 2-3 seconds unlike in most other speedy scenes, it slows how these cars are going at over 200 mph pace. It confuses me why the studios paid no attention to this when trying to make the Flash movie in the 1990s to 2000s. The answer is right there.

Yeesh, even after 30 yrs they STILL can't get a decent 'Flash' -movie off the ground. There's been more publicity made over Keaton's return than about the title-character! And if you ask me, Ezra Miller's version isn't that good and he himself is a bit of a jerk. I think Berlanti (sorry if I misspelled that) has had the right idea all along; the "Arrow-verse" has stayed truer to the comics that any other film adaptation of the 2000's. #PutGrantGustininthemovies! =)

@Snehil Shrey the bigger mistake about this movie is the fact that they are adapting Flashpoint, there's NO REASON at all to adapt Flashpoint in the FIRST Flash solo movie, they didn't develop the character and his backstory to do that in the first place, they didn't even tell his origin yet. Adapt Flashpoint in the first Flash movie is the same thing if Marvel had adapted Civil War in the first Captain America movie, that makes no sense to the character, they should do a standalone Flash movie before that, and the Flashpoint itself it's unnecessary because it's a reboot storyline but Warner Brothers/DC didn't even have a cinematic universe anymore, so why reboot a universe that don't exist?!

Would've loved to see Justice league mortal made.instead of the crapfest DC released.by crapfest I mean everything after dark Knight rises.they need to quit trying to copy Christopher Nolan.they need to lay off the gay agenda stuff.kids don't need that forced into there heads.the gays need to come up with there own gay heros instead of infiltrating the established ones with there agendas
