So well done! Both this event, allowing young engineers and designers to showcase their capabilities, and the way Rossinavi treated the value of these submissions. My son is an aerospace engineering student here in the USA. I am showing him this as inspirational and objective evidence of being ready to challenge yourself at all times as good practice. The reward for these winners is so unimaginably valuable! Every one of the entrants also gained so much just taking the risk. Rossinavi proved they are also worthy of the markets respect! And I want to thank you for giving us this gift. I was smiling from start to finish and if I win the lotto I am buying that boat! One can dream! By the way that pool in the sky was, just, beautiful!

What an amazing opportunity for exposure for up and coming designers to get on the map. Great concept. I hope this becomes an annual event.

Always really enjoy your videos. Top quality production. Rossinavi built my favorite yacht of all time "Utopia IV". If I ever get to the point where I can afford a yacht, your company is the one I will use as a broker. I'm getting closer and closer, with the price of gold going thru the roof.

Excellent video, and a great honour for you to be invited as a judge. I have been interested in the design of yachts for many years now and it's great to see the new 'young blood' coming through with new concepts. Again, outstanding video.

The first design was incredible and could work with a series of pumps that could channel the water to the lower portion of the yacht into tanks that help stabilize the boat during rough seas
@Aron-ru5zk4 жыл бұрын
James Scott the problem isn’t just the water, the glass would have to be 2-3 inches thick like they have in aquariums and tempered like a car window to hold the weight of the water and people, this would add literal tons of weight right at the top, even with no water it would’ve unstable, Also it would be completely impossible to make it out of one piece so it’d need a metal frame holding the multiple parts, adding even more weight

I'm not really creative and certainly not a designer, but I have a simple idea that 'might be helpful' on a motor yacht. This is for long distance traveling ( e.g. across the Atlantic or Pacific) with a view for 'greener travel' in saving fuel. It wouldn't take up much space, and that is to have some kind of fold-away kite sail. My thoughts were to have a sort of rounded-D (triangle) shape secured on one side by two lines and an adjustable single line on the other. The beauty of this idea would make a yacht with say, a thousand mile range, able to traverse large oceans. Anyway, great video and very good idea to get entry level designers in the forefront of super yacht design.
@Aron-ru5zk4 жыл бұрын
Larry you would need a keel or the sail wouldn’t help at all, and a keel would slow it down and cause it to burn more fuel under motor power

It is very conceptual design what remind me the architecture Vincent Callabaut. I love it. I think I could add many of my option on the design.

I love this one, just to let everyone know.Turkish Riviera, Istanbul, Bodrum, Marmaris cost they build fantastic yachts and sailboats and a more expensive super yachts ,what else can you ask for, Turkish build yachts are superb in craftsmanship and very reasonable prices, they will build one in 8,5 mouths, only $1,9 million. ask for all lacker wood work easy to clean and very durable from the salt water. they last longer Avoid sharp corners in furnishing ,slip and fall could be dangerous. definitely Volvo or MTU engines, these are the Turkish builders, Mengi-yay, Turquoise, RMK, AES, Dunya, Yachtley, Sarp. they are the best quality .

Excellent video, as always. But there was something I noticed while watching the video. 7:55 while you are walking through the exhibit, I noticed that your left shoulder drooping/lower than your right shoulder. You should get that looked at, it could be a spinal injury, which could lead to something much worse than just a drooping shoulder. Most likely it's not something that bad, but it couldn't hurt to get it looked it.

I love the winner yacht and I'm sure that this yacht will find a buyer. Is there a place on the internet where we can find some more details about it? Rossinavi doesn't seem to have a website at all at the moment and I couldn't find any other sources with more details.

Very interesting. I do high level visualisation professionally and I have wide engineering knowledge down to making the power electronics for electric propulsion so it's a pretty good fit. My current design innovation mindset is for smaller boats though and Rossinavi doesn't do below 50 meter ships? I suppose I could consider it but the rooms tend to become redundant on bigger boats.
@daniellauper81154 жыл бұрын
Wow, just great. But it's just a shame that all new designs are always monos. Despite the higher construction costs for catamaran hulls, you get so much more ship for it (deck area, stability at sea, less consumption, more speed ...) 🌞😎👍🚤⛵
@Aron-ru5zk4 жыл бұрын
Daniel Lauper the problem with cats is that marinas and harbours aren’t designed to deal with cats, small cats can manage by taking up space designed for bigger monohulls, on average the beam of a cat is 50% it’s length, now imagine what that translates to in a superyacht, a 50 meter catamaran would be as wide as dilbar, a cat that’s half the length of dilbar would be twice as wide as dilbar, your 75 meter yacht would be as wide as a cargo ship, so now you don’t fit in any marinas and you can only tie up in harbours meant for cargo ships, so cats can only be so big before they’re completely useless for recreational use

It would be nice if the drawings were shot straight on for a few seconds so that anyone might more closely examine the design. Isn't that the whole point? Less art more tech. They won for the design not their narrative. But still excellent any way you look at it.

Mr. David Seal sir It genuinely Makes me happy To see the lengths you go to to help promote others make others successful and just try to get the person in touch with whatever it is they're looking for. Whether you can provide it for them. Or you provide them with where It can be found. Another example giving here You allowed those gentlemen the chance at marketing their designs to everybody in detail you could have just said who won Show the picture. Of what they designed And said if you're interested in getting it built Contact RossiNavi or myself. You chose to let them give all the specs all of the most marketable features for everybody nothing says you will get any commission if They're made. Which means Or it appears to me You just want to see these men be successful in the yachting community and getting a ship built buy somebody for somebody else brought to them for free By you sir? Thank you, sir. When you want to give up on the world. And you come across somebody like you. We generally wants to see people happy and your helpful to a degree people probably never know. Thank you. I forgot people like you exist.
