Can it happen that nystagmus is ceasing, when doing exercises for the bppv? Meaning when the brain gets acquainted with the vertigo. and can it also happen that when one side is diagnosed and the liberatory manouvre for this side makes it worsse? meaning that the otholits are moving from one to the other canals?

This video explains a special test for determining BPPV in the horizontal canals. There are other tests and maneuvers that can help with reducing BPPV that you can find in our other videos. It's definitely possible to come across a situation where you may have aggravating symptoms from the opposite side depending on the patient presentation.
