As a bowser main, I think bowser is the easiest character to play. Stringing together long sequences is actually hard, it requires fast reactions, precise inputs, and frequent DI reads. Bowser can go hit for hit better than any other character, excels at punishing hard reads, and has one of the most solid out of shield options in the entire game. No time in the lab required

Ty S Have you ever chained a nair to 70% on a character like peach or paulutena? They make it look easy because their professionals but it’s very hard to get down in training mode much less a live fight. Bowser living until 200% and being able to kill at 70% is way more ridiculous than a highly skilled nair chain.

What I mean by the optional side is b is if you click b➡➡ Ganon will move foward like in Brawl and project M. If you click b➡⬅ he would move like the side b he has now. Now, with the protectile reflector Ganon's neutral attack should have some dark magic when he pushes his opponents. In my opinion if they add this it would be cool.

Nairo forgot to counter bowser’s up b recovery. He also could have run off baired in many opportunities before Leon initiated his up b but just jumped back to stage instead. Drop down bair like that prompts bowser to start up b’ing early, which is juicy for counter.

Canallin I think you can mash out of it like most suicide grabs, same with Ridley and Ganondorfs. Bowser got terrible vertical recovery, Palutena got great recovery, that means there’s a chance you basically just lend them a stock.

Simply put, the person being grabbed can mash out of the grab, and if they do so and recover, that stock would be wasted for a suicide play. The strat is best used when you are +1/+2 on stocks and the opponent is mid/high percent, and works better the lighter the person. Otherwise, it's more of a gimmick and used to disrespect your opponent.

In tournament you never want to give away a stock.. it works well online but you are playing against players who can come back from 1 stock to 3... keeping your stock at 120 % can be considered more favorable.

Lazy as in easy to pick up his technique? Yes. Lazy as in braindead to play? No. It takes lots of skill to read your opponents and use Bowser’s strong punish game to destroy them for their mistakes. Bowser also requires tons of patience between combo food and its hard to mix up recovery to not get edgeguarded or ledgetrapped too much.

@@justin4fun490 Ah then yeah he's very easy for beginners to pick up, good intro a lot of fundamentals and very effective because of big hitboxes esp for aerials, immense damage and killpower, easy to land specials, and lots of weight and speed. Super user-friendly and, along with Mac, was the character I first played to learn the basics. As all characters, he still gets hard to optimize at high level play, but yes his technique is "lazy to pick up."

They're not tier whoring. They have their personal opinions on who's good. And honestly, tiers are only relevant in extremely high level play. Bowser is slept on. And LeoN played absolutely fantastic. Top tiers are very easy to learn but can be optimized. Which is why they're picked so often. Nairo, for example, plays many characters on stream as well.
