I haven’t ran into any company that actually has fully integrated EDI systems. Someone is still always having to get on computer or phone and order something. Supply chain is so popular now bc of the crap with COVID and shutdowns but don’t stress about it. Supply chain management student and business major here. Disposal is the answer. Especially if the consumer disposes the product. However, if the consumer returns the product, say for warranty issues to get the product repaired or upgraded, that would not fall on disposal.
