Seriously though. I had a misdemeanor theft charge from 5 years ago, my ex stole money out of my register at my work while I was using the bathroom but since it was my workplace and my drawer we got the same charge, and even though its been years and it was the only time in my entire 32 years of living that I've ever been in trouble, never even had a ticket, I'm still treated like shit over it. It's hard to find any job at all, people accept felonies before theft misdemeanors which makes zero sense, and every good job I've almost had always gets taken from me when they find out about the charge. I paid all of my fees on time, paid the restitution back by myself, finished probation with zero incidents, and I'm still treated like a criminal. It's ridiculously unfair.

The woman isn't the only one getting paid, so is the judge. Child support isn't fair and the fathers don't even get full access to the kids they're paying for. Women who break up families just to put men on child support are monsters. If you want child support you should just make the relationship and not be the reason he leaves or give him his kids so that child support isn't needed from him.
@instructorvarrence12502 ай бұрын
I wholeheartedly agree that child support isn't fair. The way it's run isn't fair. However, some of the other stuff that you said isn't fair either and it's a bit ridiculous. Sure there are some that keep their children away unfairly. There are also those that keep their children away for VERY good reasons. Unfortunately, the only thing to do at this point is go to the court and petition for time. Then again, the court doesn't know the situation, they only know what is presented. I've seen people that were forbidden to see their kids bc they are violent and abusive, but now the kids have to go and don't want to. I've seen good parents not get to see their kids. I've seen kids medically kidnapped for ridiculous reasons. The point is, once your child is in the system, you don't really get a say, so the best thing to do is keep them out of it as much as you can. Sometimes it's unavoidable. So, the absolute best thing you can do is try not to have kids out of wedlock, make sure you're financially equipped, and ready for kids. Even then... Sometimes unavoidable. But we have to do our best. I have an agreement with my partner that even if we were to ever split up, we would try all avenues to do things peacefully with our child before we EVER asked for the court's help.

Third, Joe, her new husband being rich, should have a lot to do with child support, that mean she and her new partner can afford supporting the child. Fourth, baseball and cheerleading isn't basic need, I don't think it's right to count that in the child support, since child support supposed to be for necessity, if it's like a pc for school i can still understand.

What if the endorsement falls through? Will he be reimbursed for the new amount?
@j.m.ac.249111 ай бұрын
No, he will not be reimbursed, but if the deal falls through he can petition the court for less... is the short answer. But it sheds a light on the hypocrisy and double standards in the courts. It's to much for the mom to come back if the deal actually goes through but it's fine to force the opposite on the father if the deal falls through. Scary reality every man faces if faced with divorce. Wait until those kids are grown before throwing in the towel. You never know how people will act, not everyone can throw in that towel amicably.

This is confusing. His endorsement is for the company. But since he owns a part of the company that endorsement counts as income? Even tho all of that will be spent on the company. His wife literally took money away from special needs kids.

Most of the time the non custodial parent pays for health insurance
@tanyabrown69696 жыл бұрын
Exactly. It makes zero amounts of cents. It's apparent that the children are being taken care of and the ex doesn't need the money. She's just doing it to hurt him. Chances are the "child support" will go toward hair bleach.

In Texas it is part of child support obligation. Like daycare belongs to the custodial parent that incurs it.

@DavinaMealoha6 жыл бұрын
This was a messed up judgement. If the money isn't even actual income yet. That's bs! The ex could have come back and make a new case. There was no change in his income at the time of this case. You cannot be claiming something that isn't just yet. Just like trying to claim child support for a baby who is not born yet: it just doesn't exist! Bad ruling! 😑👎
@JudgeVondaB6 жыл бұрын
Davina D Thank you for tuning in! I encourage you to google child support laws in Texas. Whether you agree with the judgment or not, the judgment is legal under Texas law.
@DavinaMealoha6 жыл бұрын
@@JudgeVondaB I read up. I saw that a Judge can claim that kind of thing as income. Just felt like you did the ruling on this a lil too soon. Never good to count your eggs before they hatch. So law is one thing, but having consideration and moral is a whole other topic. God bless you Judge and Ohana. Really love your show. I don't know of any one in your state or with child support problems, just like to watch. Take care.

That is some bullshit. So her new husband pays the health insurance but the ex pays it back? So how can he go for the new husband for money if rolls were reversed?
@jasminmcdonald52903 жыл бұрын
I'm pretty sure it's about securing health coverage for the children and renegotiating responsibilities so that the actual father IS paying for it hence on. The fact that the health insurances was provided by a man she was legally married to speaks highly of the man she married. He didn't have to do that but he did. Although she personally didn't pay for it she helped it to happen in some way. Sometimes you just have to get things done.

Endorsements are income.
@drakonsnyder0053 жыл бұрын
The endorsement to the company isn't what the increase is based on. Its the fact the dad is getting a higher pay do to the endorsement deal. The endorsement it self is probably much higher and raised all of management salaries. Had he not received an increase in salary he wouldn't have to pay more.

I got a question, at the divorce court the judge ordered my brother to pay the maximum amount of child support. My brother makes $4800.00 net every month .and the judge ordered him to pay $1700.00 plus 230 insurance every month. How can we revise the child support obligation? Based on your show it seems like he is paying too much. Where can we go to lower? The divorce has not been finalized yet.
