I consider MW3 to be the superior game and I don't understand MW2 fans, I remember back in the day they always complained about how unbalanced and rage inducing it was. Then MW3 comes along an fixes most of MW2's problems(noob tube nerfed, stopping power removed etc) yet they consider MW2 to be the superior game today. Is this because of nostalgia or what?

I’m on the fence, I love both games but I have a slight preference for Mw3. I think MW2 had a problem with the things you listed. However I understand both, with the broken game being MW2’s charm.

Nah, Mw2 has the better maps, better weapons and operates at smoother rate. Mw3 was able to fix some of the problems but couldn't replicate the smoothness
