My tip for healers is to lean how to heal. You would find it suprising how many Healer does not realy know how to heal Uninformed person would just say "Press and hold mouse one / left klick to heal" but often that is mistake it self. As Moira you wanna learn to tap healing and using healing orb to all chip dmg. As Mercy you wanna learn to heal 2 to 4 targets instead of healing someone to full healt before changing the healing target. Swap the healing all the time between 2 target. This will save lives if the players position is ok (and can hide behind cover). As Lucios it is all about position. Yeah theres alot more when you need to know where to speed and when yo heal and moving fast to targets and having some aim. . . Zen it is all about aim anf position. Also knowing who to heal. The healing is simplest to use but having good position keeps you alive and aim helps you survive. For Ana it gets harder as you must manage your sleep and biotic pee while having good aim and knwoledge when to reload (waitting tve buffs) also position is important. You don't want to fall too far behind. Brigitte you must learn to wait. Too often see I brigitte coming 1v6 (and living, shame dpa and tanks, shame) But these are my own opinions ^_^ and saying "just press mouse one" sure it can work but that is same as saying soldier you can hold mouse one and you win. You need little more than just press mouse one to heal full hp reinhardt who is holding 2k hp shield. . . Vs healing someone who is missing hwalt, like the genji at 199hp ;)

Amber Valkerie yeah, stand next to healer and get 0 healz. Are widow in back get 0 healz ask healz get 0 healz . . . Or sometimes the problem is that they don't know how the hero works (notsayingthatsomedontknowhowMoiraworksstylosa) even if they say they know. Like mercy phara combo. Sure that is good, but even better is having the mercy help the team so it is not 2v6 as team is always dead (These are the times when I'm foeced to take Moira.)

This though. 10/10 comment. Aggressive speed boost Lucio‘s and DPS Moira’s are so annoying. It’s kind of like, just swap to DPS if you aren’t gonna actually heal your team. But instead they’re just taking up a support slot and pretending like they are helping and not realizing they are actually feeding. I wish all players could’ve read your comment.

learning how to jump away from Flankers as Ana is really Key I find myself a lot of the time engaging tracer or sombra to get that mlg sleep but in reality 8 out of 10 times u will die so just hop on away and get next to ur rein/zarya

Wyatt Hall thous players should learn Zenyatta ;) he is almost like dps and no one is waitting Zen to heal much :D only Genji will yell at him xD that is my experiences as Zen (meybe 3 from 10 games played fully as Zenyatta, rest took main healer)

Lol, I am a support main and this season I dropped from mid gold to high silver, I can only heal the stupids for long as they try to kill the enemy or ignore the flankers and winston jumping back line

I dropped from gold to high silver to low silver, almost in bronze. No matter what I do with a healer I'm dependent on my team to lose or win. Those fuckers are so braindead they even forget to push the payload. If I pick a DPS we'll just have one more DPS in the team and someone starts raging and throwing.

I find that Mercy SR gains are not consistent with other players. If you all remember, Mercy was having this issue for says and it was supposed fixed "many" times. I believe it is still an issue. The gains are minimal and the losses are extreme compared to other heroes. There are too many times that I lose 26 or 27 points and I gain 23-24 points which is a net loss. When I play Lucio or Zen, it is right in the ~25 range. Mercy is easily my best hero - by a landslide. I had a 60+% win rate last season. My Lucio play is 55% at best. Zen is around 51-52%. Has anyone else noticed this?

Yeah, I got the same impression. Feels as if the SR gains for healing are capped at 12K or something, meaning that healing more than that is a waste of time, and you should instead be damage boosting, Resurrecting or going Battle Mercy.

Something I've wanted to try is something that could disable the ability to view your medals so that you can't see them during the game. I've found that I'm constantly viewing this menu whenever I'm tanking, supporting or doing damage. I think if we focus more on the game at hand instead of constantly viewing how much medals you're getting, there may be an improvement in gameplay.

As a healer main in silver I tried to duoQ with a friend playing DPS/Tank and we got wrecked anyway. Because we're in a duo the game chose to put smurfs against us, McCree/Tracer/Genji mains solo-carrying the game, spawncamping us and mocking our team in the chat. Good job with matchmaking, Blizzard. My friend just stopped playing, he's sick of this game. We were in gold before and now we're low silver, despite being better at the game.

I been stuck in gold since i brought the game back in december. I main mercy and I solo queue a lot. I tend to easily surpass 13,000 healing per game and i have a current healing average of 11,000 per 10mins (i have no idea if this is good for someone my rank). But anyways i struggle to climb. But hopefully your vid will help me :)

Voltage Swarm From my experience from splitting from Mercy is to go Moira first, she is the closest in terms of skill set to Mercy and a transtioning point as it will teach you to go from passive Mercy player into a more aggressive Support player, once you get used to Moira and learning when to be aggressive going Lucio is next for improving mechanics like the wall ride and aiming with his gun. Briggite is also good for transitioning more into tank play. The reason I didn't say Zen or Ana is that they are heavy on mechanics from the start making those two really hard transitions from a Mercy player, its better to ease yourself into them with the heroes I listed first before challenging yourself with Zen or Ana.

Moira, Brigitte are both low risk high reward. As much as I hate them, it's probably best getting decent with them. It depends if you wanna be main or off heal. Off heal is like Zen, Brigitte and kind.of Lucio. Main heal is Moira, Mercy and Ana. If you wanna challenge yourself, go zen or ana. Zen is good if you still want the sort of 'dps' aspect, as well as healing.

The problem with this games Compettitive scene is that it makes you feel like youre stuck in a rank you dont belong in. I was able to get into diamond season 2 but now it seems the past 3 seasons i get stuck in gold/silver. I know that im better than that because ive done better. And it doesnt help that the lower you go, the more trolls, throwers and leavers, on top of garbage players end up on your team.

Tip, don't assume kills or aggression is how to carry, mercy carry's via buffing whenever not absolutely needed to heal, and bouncing around like crazy

It's kind of weird, this season has actually been great for me. I got to Diamond and have been on a steady win streak of 13 games. The only bad game I've had this season is when a group of 3 on my team left so it became 3v6. I'm a Zen, Ana and Moira main and it's actually been fun. People talk about how it's so hard to escape the lower ranks (including diamond), but after I got out of gold (stuck in there for 4 seasons), things actually got a lot easier. Plat took 1 season to get out of, and I'm already mid diamond this season.

Ive been Mercy main throught every season since S1 and I have to tell you I have like 1 win and 5 loses I have to learn some support capable of carrying in dmg but with the zen nerf I dont know what to do. I always have to fill support anyways but the dps I get 90% of the time go in alone and die or cant aim at all I dmg boost them and they dont get a single shot yet alone a single kill so yeah Ive been stuck in low gold-silver all seasons any advice? ps I dont have friends to group up with so I solo que all the time

Because of that, despite having the game for little over a year, I hardly to never got to competitive after my placement matches. I've been dual playing Mercy and Ana most of the time. I'll swap to Lucio/Zen if need be and I have no problem switching to Orisa and Rein, though I need practice on Rein. I've been doing pretty well as Zarya and D.Va. After these eight fuckers I don't play anything else because that's my hero pool.

Because people tunnel-vision on 1v1 engagements with her, which she should win in 99% of the cases. As soon as you outnumber her, though, she's dead. The only true OP thing about her is the amount of lasting armor her Ultimate provides, but that's being nerfed. Can't understand the reasoning behind the increased SB cooldown, though. She kinda needs it to be this 'dive counter' that Blizzard makes her out to be.

The main probleme with Brigitte is the fact that she can do everything. She can be a bruiser, a tank, and a healer all at the same time, and she can do all of those thins very well.

Diamond mercy here and soon Master, the best tip is, Do your job, try not to die, I got diamond straight after completing the 10 matches just by doing that The better you get as a healer the more attention you will get from the enemy and so they might send like 2 players after you all the time that would literally ignore everybody else and run after you, the best thing to do is Ask your team to keep an eye on you (I understand that there are so many potato players out there), if you find it hard to stay far enough from the enemy or their focus is not escapable with mercy, play Ana or Moira to be safer because the moment you die your team will start breaking soon after it

I win 7/10 games. The only constant player between the games is me. It's highly unlikely that I'm just getting carried by random good teammates every game. It's more likely that I have figured out how I can carry as a support. My win rate is actually up to 74% now and I'm enjoying mid masters
