No seriously I am just starting to learn to play guitar and I have to start with an acoustic first, I really hope at some point I will be able to play electric guitar at some point… keep it up man!

You can start with electric. There's no rule.

Only rules you need to follow are learn a few songs with different cowboy chords (basic chords) on either or (electric is better for learning) and then after learn the scales, the chords that go with them, music theory (rip), and then let the wind guide you. I’m at the tail end of that part and just now starting to understand it after a year of struggling to understand that last part it just now clicked but from here I have to let the wind guide me.
