There's a reason we make fun of this game for its 'damn' diologue, and it's not just because it's petty swearing coming from the mouths of sonic characters. It's because it's unimpactful petty swearing that has no significant difference in the tone or expression of the characters. They just threw it around to try to make the game more edgy, but tbh it was the guns, the music, and the themes that really made it edgy. Not the damn swearing.

First two "damn"'s should be moved down a tier. Maybe they stick more because they're heard during gameplay, but they're definitely not as powerful as the Commander's "damn"'s to be in the same tier. Even though "Damn, not here...!" is a standout quote & one of my favorites, it's the second half that wraps it up & really elevates it, more so than the "Damn" itself. Espio's strong "Damn" & Shadow's sinister "I'm going to destroy this damn planet!" definitely need to be bumped up a tier. They're certainly as good, if not better (Shadow's line here in particular), than the "damn"'s Shadow says during regular gameplay. Sonic's "Damn" should automatically be in the "Damn Straight" tier, because if he's saying it, you know shit's fucked.
