Seattle had 2 shots total against Toronto in the two Cup games. Though this is Toronto's first MLS Cup ( and many say it will take more then one to make this team official ), you gotta start somewhere. Winning the Supporter's shield, winning the MLS Cup can't be considered a one off. This team broke many records, this franchise is younger then most who have won the Cup several times. If you honestly think that TFC won't get to the finals next season, you don't know football and the MLS. As far as MLS not being a legit league, that's bs, it's a young league that has grown massively the last decade. Most European team's have been around for fucking time. Obviously their leagues will be more advanced. But that doesn't make the MLS, or any team or player that play's for the MLS any less talented then the players over seas. I bet TFC could beat a lot of teams playing in Europe. I think TFC will be a force for year's to come. Good luck to any team who has to face them.

So glad to see Soccer/Football growing ever bigger in North America! Its the biggest global sport and it should be in the USA/ Canada too! I'm lucky to see my beloved Liverpool FC in the English Premier League, one of the greatest league's in the world and without doubt the fastest! Its actually true that there are more registered Soccer players (almost 1 million participants) in Canada than there are registered Hockey players. Its the most popular participation team sport in the country. The problem is that there has been no significant development structure beyond getting little kids involved. This is what has started to change.

Damn it, even the supporters shield has to do with war, can't you just make something that doesn't relate to war? Also, I noticed in an earlier episode someone had "in memory of blablabla armed forces" on the front of their stadium, keep war and such out of sports, you do sports at sports arenas and shooting at shooting ranges or at war, not at sports arenas.

The Championship is similar quality to the MLS I would say Preston would be mid table in that league .Wolves are currently the best team in the Championship and I think they would beat Toronto

I don't know ... Giovinco is a step above he would be amazing in the prem I really like Morrow and Vasquez as well but there the only prem quality players for me .Bradley is a slow and sideways kind of player and Jozy Altidore is utter shite when he came to England he scored 1 goal in 2 years for Sunderland and for Hull he played a full season and only scored 1 goal again ... 2 goals in 3 years and he played a lot as well he was absolutely terrible.

Preston North End Hard to disagree with that, but I think Bradley is definitely prem quality, especially when he plays the way he did in the cup final. And Altidore was shite in England I think it was mostly psychological, I think that if he went back now he'd be better, although maybe he just thrives in the very physical MLS

Toronto had one good season. LA Galaxy and Seattle Sounders FC have had many, many good seasons. Toronto still is very far off of these teams in every way, shape, and form, APART FROM THIS SINGLE SEASON.

Lemonhead86 LA Galaxy of 2011 had only four points less than Toronto this season. They also won MLS Cup that season, as well as the following season. Toronto has to perform well for the next two or three seasons if they even want to compete AT ALL with LA Galaxy, DC United, and even Seattle Sounders FC. You're like a Manchester City fan, they believe they are the league's best club in history already just because of their good performances in the last decade or so. You've got years of hard work ahead of you to catch up to the top MLS clubs, and quite frankly, I don't think you'll do it. Enjoy this MLS Cup, because it will probably the last for you for a very long time.

Are you aware that this is the third consecutive season Toronto FC has been in the playoffs and that last year they also made the final? I'd hardly call that one good season. LA Galaxy and DC United has been around since the beginning where there were only 12 teams, so that's not a fair comparison. Brighton & Hove Albion F.C. on the other hand...

Jeff T Brighton is tens of times better than any MLS club. Besides, Seattle has made the playoffs NINE seasons consecutively, while also having two straight MLS Cup appearances. As you can see, there's a large gap here. LA Galaxy has 5 MLS Cups, and three of those have come since 2011, when the league had at least 18 clubs, not a puny 12. Toronto isn't there yet, its obvious.

Brighton and Hove Lad You're backtracking. You said Toronto only had one good season twice (the second was even in capitals) Brighton are also better than LA Galaxy and DC United, why don't you bring that up. Seattle has made the playoffs every year so that obviously tells you they didn't build anything. They drafted lucky and only now they're building from trades and signings. LA and DC were here way before TFC so they obviously had a longer time to build at team.
