​@@Raiz136 the shadow queen takes a minimum of 5 turns. 1 turn for phase 1, 3 turns for the invincible phase 2, and 1 turn for phase 3. It could be faster in the OG version but the remake changed how bomb squad works so it can't be used to cheese the invincible phase anymore. But in the OG it was a minimum of 3 turns since phase 2 could be cheesed.

YES, I’m so glad I wasn’t the only one who noticed this extra care they took with the remade soundtrack. That little motif crops up WAY more than it does in the original, I don’t even remember if it does in the original at all prior to the final battle. It makes the scene this music plays in not only feel like a culmination of the game’s story, but also of its soundtrack. Every little hint of that motif that crops up in different battle themes or character themes or minigame themes or what have you is building up to this moment, and it’s glorious.

It's been 20 years, we made it. I think this was the song I was most excited to hear in this remake, and they did it complete justice. The emotions were just as strong, maybe even stronger here. This whole part, even the music, is one of the best parts of this entire game! Everyone that Mario helped and met throughout the game just giving Mario the encouragement to not give up, that they believe he can succeed. These are not their leitmotifs… not even the slightest trace of them. This is based on the original theme from TTYD, therefore it would've been impossible to feature Goomba's, Koops's, Vivian's, and Admiral Bobbery's themes because their character themes didn't even exist yet.

It is the other way around. The main theme was incorporated into their themes. This theme has been around since the old game, before they all had their own music themes (besides just Flurrie and Mowz, which both got new mixes)
