I like doing my own thing too, and almost never follow published spells. That being said, I do find them to be a great source of inspiration on which to build. Keeps my practice from getting too stagnant, by adding fresh perspective from other angles.

I got my best friend to get this spell deck. I saw it in a witchcraft store with her and felt she should have it. She isn’t much of a reader at all, (she hates reading) and is a beginner. I felt this deck would be a lot easier for her because it’s short to read, simple, and quick to get into.

I Always ponder getting this when I shop in Barnes and Noble but because I could never see or get an idea of the cards themselves,always left it on the shelf. Now I really wanna get it and its always a great price!

I think these would really come in handy if you set them on a card display while doing the spell. Much like you, I tend to do my own thing with spells but when I was first starting out I wanted to do spells by whatever book I was reading and it was so hard to remember everything! I have had my eye on this deck for months and have been curious about it. Might grab it with some holiday money. :)

Another deck I would recommend is The Ritual Deck by Zenned Out. It‘s an amazing tool for small and daily rituals and it is visually pleasing. I really think it could be something you might like. 🥰

I'm curious about the Lust Dust. Years ago there was a witchy website called Cantrap with a recipe called Lust Dust. I made it a few times and used it as incense. It smelled so good and it worked, ha.

Just got one of these for myself. I came here to see if anyone else was having trouble opening the top of the plastic part of the deck but yours seemed super easy! Idk why mine won’t open at all, I’m scared of breaking/tearing the plastic

Aw sorry to hear you're having trouble. One trick is to slide a butter knife or nail file under the top flap to 'lift' it up. Hope you sort it out!

It is difficult to open. I brought mine 2 days ago and i was nervous to open it because i didnt want to rip or break. Stick ur finger towards the front of top so u can feel the flap to open it

I just bought this book wondering how to use it. I get the separation of the deck but I'm wondering if you are doing a spell for someone else, can you use the entire deck and pull any card out? Or do you let them shuffle the deck, whether entire deck or just section? Or are these cards meant for one person? I ordered my set through the RUNNING PRESS site, so I ended up just getting it a dollar or so cheaper. I also got a set without the book. It said it came with book, but they lied.
