So proud of you for finishing this book! It is a whopper. Thank you for giving us your insights. I checked out Holistic Tarot from the library, not realizing how large it was. I got a little freaked and only managed to read the table of contents. Sooooo maybe in 2020 I will buy it.... and/or this book.

Robert M. Place is doing a Marseille deck!! I really really want the Ukio-e Lenormand. I was VERY tempted to buy TWU Archetypes when I went to Quest...(the backs bug me, but I love the art) Alchemical Tarot was so formative for me. I love everything Robert M. Place. I have done a few grand tableau readings with the Burning Serpent, great deck, so easy to use, and that book was really illuminating. That's part of the reason I finally bit the bullet and bought her Tarot Wisdom...love it!

Lisa, I love your channel! Your energy is so contagious! And I enjoy your comments about all the different decks you review. (I don’t know how you manage to do all that you do!) FYI, did you mention in one of your videos that a card deck you got had a bend in it? I just got a deck with a bend, which drives me nuts! The following solution may help when this happens. I went through my deck turning every other card the opposite way. Then I put them back in the box with the book on top. These happened to be published by Hay House, so the book is kind of thick. I left them like that for about 24 hours and now they look quite a bit better. But better still, after turning every other card (which makes every other card an opposing bend) put some heavy books on top of the card deck for 24 hours. I think this really will help. Might have to do this more than once. 😍

The Celtic Lenormand is beautiful! I also found it in a used bookstore this summer. I use all the extra cards in the deck, which I normally wouldn't do, but it feels like it fits. Like the optional cards are slightly different facets of the same meaning, if that makes sense? Thanks for sharing, I hope you enjoy studying the Marseille!

I looked up the Alchemical Tarot book you mentioned, but couldn't find a copy I could afford. I bought another Tarot book by Robert M. Place instead. Someday I'll get a copy of that huge book. Just not tonight.

Hi Lisa! I really enjoyed the video! My $40 first edition Alchemical Tarot turned out to be a bust. I got a refund and an apology for being "unable to fill this order." LOL No big shock there! 😂 I was able to get The Tarot, Magic, Alchemy, Hermeticism, and Neoplatonism, Second Edition, though! It arrived Friday, and I just finished chapter 2 right before watching this. I'm trying to do a chapter a day until I get to (What was it?) chapter 14? I'm really loving the book and the easy way it reads! (I love the quality of the pages too!) I actually backed The Tarot of the Sevenfold Mystery when he crowd-sourced it, so I have a copy of that to learn too! 😃

You can get it directly from Robert M Place, but I believe I got it in an order from TarotBG with a few other items that either qualified me for free shipping or that made the shipping more worthwhile at the time.
