TR Holmes called this so called revolution a war between civilization and barbarism, and NC majumdar called it religion motivated war , and according to ghandji any nation can inherit the traits of its colonisers, and use it on others in future when they get freedom, like in kashmir in 2010 and mass uprisings of 2016 revolt against India's occupation. What's britian opinion was regarding Indian independent movement, similar is India's bias towards kashmiris right to self determination movement for plebiscite, although it is promised by India to kashmiris according to unitednations security Council resolution of 47.
