who would've thought the words 'la la' could trigger so many emotions and memories, especially the ones after 5:14 it just reminds me of the times when Rory was still the innocent 16-year-old book-obsessed girl who had just started Chilton, her first ever relationship, her first encounters with Jess, Luke and Lorelai's years of friendship. so many 'firsts'. the nostalgia is so strong :(

For years I put this show off because of about 5 minutes I watched once. So glad my fiancé and friends told me to watch it a few years ago. It’s so bittersweet and lovely. We watch it pretty much all the time because it’s relaxing and man, the ending was a real tug on the heartstrings
