I think I would lean towards this being the canon campaign. The gate network still exists and quantum travel is still possible, so the Cybrans are out. I doubt the other factions would ever forgive the UEF for blowing up their planets and killing billions of their people. Burke's several year disappearance is presumably her ascending to the quantum realm and evntually figuring out how to get back.

Except one thing you're missing, the Princess doesn't fully and truly ascend until Forged Alliance. :)

Of all the factions, Aeon IS the best in my opinion. Now, where you used bombers, I used gunships. Bombers took too long to manufacture.
