Styrbjorn really got on my nerves after being so selfish with csoller's ASFs. Not only did he basically single-handedly cause the lower lake to be lost because of the lack of air support that Gareth surely needed (when the upper lake was already his to begin with), he talked all that shit about csoller too. He made some good points about csoller's strategic bombers and such, but when the guy that was defending against three players in the air, helping turn the tide for both water battles, winning nearly every air battle hands down was HIGH the whole match? That says worlds of what that player can do when fully capable, and that in and of itself looks really, really bad for Styrbjorn. He may be good, but when he's outplayed by someone who's high the whole match and then causes a major loss to his team from selfishness, he doesn't look so good anymore.

A different opinion, on which none of you will agree I suppose: I predicted the game ending from the point that csoller asked two times if Styrbjorn was happy with the help he gave him while at that point he had his own great idea. csoller is right: he can't be at all places at the same time, he is human. He decided to help instead of going for his goal, Styrbjorn wasn't team minded here, although he is a good player of course. But a 4v4 is a team game. Help each other and say "Thank you" instead of complaining. Everyone has it's reasons and is different than you. Even a small "yep I'm happy ;)" would have given csoller a better feeling, instead of the feeling you all know when you do something for someone and expect a thank you and nothing comes out (or commentary comes out), because it seems to be taken for granted. Team 1 could have won in my opinion. I was hoping I was being proved wrong on the ending. csoller does not deserve the "He could have done this or that". I'm not saying you aren't right, but that was after he didn't get a "thank you" nor even an "yes, i'm happy". I can be wrong. As Gyle said, they were chatting via team speak. It's the team spirit that lost team 1 the game, not the strategies, they were good. Even if you get crushed, keep believing it IS possible and then I'll see an EPIC ;) (and yeah csoller: I must agree though with Gyle: don't say gg before your commander sees a nuke 10 meters above his head. But I understand you said that ;)). Styrbjorn: you're a good player, but learn to say: "No worries mate, let's kick their ass" ;). Gratz for team 2 though, their opening was great as was their persistence in the entire game, which is also one of the big psychological reasons to keep in mind ! And they stood together as a team ;). You win some. You lose some. But you can regain what you have lost (as long as you don't stand on your own in believing that added phrase). (This also counts in real life.) aka Centric

At 26:00 he was definitely paying attention. He called gg when he saw it and probably didn't care to prolong it by even bothering to retreat. Instead he opted to just walk towards it and hit it with his comm's death nuke, perhaps helping his teammates deal with it later.

Epic in length only. Build 5 GCs... wait... then walk halfway across the map and finally accomplish what could've been done 40+ min ago. Pink spending most of the game blowing eco on sera nukes (even tele SCUs wouldve been more worthwhile). Practically no SMD.

hahahaha, ***** I started watching this cast as it was in your "what to watch next" and as I am super tired from finals I thought this was a new video. Got really excited that I really made some popcorn and started watching. Then after a few minutes I ran into some "familiar" scenes the random ravenger drop, the amazing jokes, then I saw the release date and said to myself, "Sid, you idiot!" And now gotta finished it! Was a good one too.

a good way to see when cast becomes full HD is to check the FAF website - www.faforever.com/ on the right hand side, in the Gyle section, you might see a white box displaying a video icon - youtube is still processing the cast. only 360p available. when the clipbox displays a full image of the cast, you know its now available in full 1080p. at least this is what I do when youtube is having a slow day, pop into the forums for a bit ;)

One of supcoms selling points was multithreading, but they just did a bad job of it (1 thread was dedicated to the sim, and 1 thread to the drawing). So while technically true, functionally useless for dealing with lots of units on the sim. It also came out when duel core was new, so their strategy made sense at the time.

Spoiler. All of the flak spam from Cancan... Quite horrendous to watch an air player with 20 times more T2 flak than ASF... That plus the fact that Csoller could have obliterated everything with his strats at around half time just made this quite head banging to watch :/ Good cast by you though ;)

To be honest it is very easy to blame your teammates in a Seton's. Styrbjorn was being a selfish fuck though, surely gareth who was getting absolutely trashed and was about to get landlocked into his base needed the air support a little bit more than Styrbjorn who was in an even battle. Pluskat's nukes completely won the game though, zero response from any of the players to the nuke threat. No building of SMD's and more importantly no movement to dodge.

Actally this one was a low activity game compered to the amount of units. No special tactic applied,no genuine tricks just nukes, nukes and more nukes, but at least a hard to kill Cybran.

Since the early galactic colossus, the loss of the lower teams czar, and the loss of their soul ripper, it was pretty obvious which direction this game was going. Also, is artillery considered a dirty tactic? The Aeon rapid fire artillery could decimate the enemies middle defense, yet they never built it. That said, coller played well. Just a shame sins got killed early.

Might i say that the pocket and front player for team 1 made serious mistakes. Well, depony killed an ACU right off, but then he turtled hard and even died eventually. Had he built a couple of atlantis sooner instead of ASF spam, that would have been an easier game.

why csollar did not use torpedo bombers? 1 drop from t3 aeon can destroy a cruiser, so he just need to spread that out a little, kill cruisers and then focus on regular ships...i think so? or am i wrong?

Is it just me, or was Styr being unbearably annoying for pretty much the last ten minutes of the game? He just would not stop whining about how bad soller was (which I personally found funny considering how he was pretty much the only one holding things together for them). Aside from that, I found it funny that of all the players on team 1, Cancan seemed to be the least effective air player.

Hopefully that Tiep guy isn't present anymore. This suiciding of atlantis units against a soul reaper surely gave me cancer. The other game he wasted resources for scathis to scratch a few ships. It's unbelievable how those players were that bad in the early FAF days. They would be max. 1-1,5k ranked nowadays, considering that they most certainly played this map several times before.
