Even though Raider's Control K was premature, I do believe even if the game was played out he still probably would've lost. Despite that amazing strat bomber run, without any way to make more Percys Raider has no way to stop Morax from rebuilding and spamming out more ground units to finish the job, and if that failed Morax would simply have his double gun upgraded com finish Raider off. Would have loved to see this played out, but it was clearly already decided.

That's so hard to say ... as long as his power grid is down, the remaining Harbs as well as his Com are without shields and Asylums stop working. So Raider's remaining forces could still do quite some damage. And while that power grid is theoretically faster to be replaced than a t3 HQ I wouldn't be all too sure about that since Morax' mass income is also crippled. Morax' big advantage here is the sniper com, even without personal shield. However, no power also means no overcharge and with some Percies still roaming this is still risky. We, with full view, can say it's probably still the winning move to go in. But Morax was very conservative with his Com during the entire game, I really doubt he would takes risks now and instead focussing on rebuilding.

Would still say that the overall advantage was in Raiders favour. With no engery there would be near 0 production of new units until the situation is repaired. With no overcharge ther is no way that an ACU could have stopped thouse t3 units on the right side. Still maybe he thought that Morax had power stations elsewhere? I doubt the he would have surrendered if he new just how bad the situation was for Morax. He would have had another t3 HQ in what? 2-3 minutes? Maybe 4? It is unlikely that Morax would be able to repair his eco that fast and after all of that he would have stood with a far better mass income than Morax. Still realy nice game. It is easy for us to say with all thouse information on hand. My guess he was frustrated in the moment and gave up because of that.

No no no no no no no completely wrong. Raider had power, +100 eco and about 5k reclaim right in his base. All he needs to do is spam 5 t1 factories, build engies and he has t3 land 1 min later and full t3 mex and easy win

I disagree: Raiden was clearly ahead on eco and power. He very likely would have won if he continued.

@@inversepie6512 Riaiden lost build capacity and eco. Yes he had 900 power but that is because he was producing no units. A power stall is reduction in eco, A loss of tier 3 means no production.

You have pretty much single-handedly introduced me to supreme commander. I learn a lot from your casts (but still easily spend over 2 hours on campaign missions). I would love a tutorial video regarding build-orders and strengths/weaknesses on each race. Any chance you could do that? There are certainly tutorial videos on youtube already, but your knowledge of the game combined with your humor would be a joy to watch. Anyways, I'll keep waiting for the next cast. as always. I feel like this game wasnt at all decided by the difference in mass. There were a couple of moments where units that massively outclassed their opposition sat idle or simply didnt push far enough. While its always scary to push if you dont know what lies beyond, I try to remember that timidity does a thousand times more damage than audacity!

World in Conflict was a very nice game the way the made the points and stratagy stuff was refreshing and ahead of its time! Same goes afcourse for these casts and this game ^^ (more so the casts ^^)

Raider made the smart choice to Ctrl+k, he lost both t3 hqs and 2 t3 power. It was unrecoverable even if morax lost his power since he still had hqs to begin rebuilding and had units winning on right and had already crushed left.

You don't need hqs to begin rebuilding if you have engineers. Power is especially hard to rebuild since it needs a lot of power. All the while you are producing nothing of value. Raider still had income to produce with. His t3 power was used for the air, which he doesn't have to rebuild straight away as morax certainly can't go for it without power.

He could get back from an e stall in about a minute by pausing and rebuilding, raider could not rebuild and upgrade his land fac to t3 in the same time even with his engies. His left was open to being raided and his right was unstable, he had lost and he already knew it. Dragging it out does nothing.

@@jayjay101hjk He had 700 total power income and stalling hard. Raider had 2.4k and wasn't stalling. You're right comparing the build time given no stall is longer for the land factory, but that was not the case. Also raider had more units already on the field and morax would not build harbs while power stalling, or able to use the few he had left to defend with. Percies wreck unpowered harbs even harder than when they have power. Not saying Raider would have won, but I doubt he would have quit if he had observer intel.

Raider was out and done when he lost his land army to his poor positioning on the left and simultaneaouly lost his airforce to his suicide run on the right. The strat bombing run was good but it wasn't enough. All Morax had to do to win was select all units and move in.

What no Dog... I suppose Gyle only uses the dog button for EPIC games.. Premature CTRL K, Autism caused loss of head Id say, things didnt go the way he wanted and gave in... however Morax couldn't build much and Raider had percys to clean up for the win...??

id agree raider could have still won, he still had t2 power, all the reclaim in his base, a bunch of t1 engis, could still produce t3 engis from the land factory, he just had to rush a hq, probably land to stabalize or go for a kill with air

As important as econ is in this game it makes no sense for each unit to not have basic econ capacity. Like every unit should have a small amount of power gen, mass storage, and a reclaim gun that just auto targets. I can't get over the "what would really happen with this tech" thing. I really want to see where this would evolve. I feel like it would be basically t4 reclaim bot, like a fat boy only no cannons, just a strong reclaim gun. Also AA would be baked into a lot of units even if it was just one round of emergency fire, like every t3 land gets one stinger missile. I really wish modding for this game was more approachable. Can't wait till the AI get that good.

They use the faf mod (forged alliance forever.) To be honest, I'm pretty sure the graphics haven't changed much. It was always a good looking game, it was just terrible performing when it came out.

@@TeutonicFarms When the game was released, there simply wasn't any PC out that could handle it. At least not on the commercial market for home use. At that time we were all still using single core CPUs and even high end graphics cards had less than 1 GB of memory. My machine had a maxed out single core and the game still started to stutter and then gradually slowing down, even on low graphics settings. I once tried to play Seton's that got into an endgame and the game slowed down to -9 automatically (single frames during air battles). SupCom only became playable with the arrival of quadcores and matching graphics cards.

The Game or replay must've desynced because whenever I played live with morax my entire base died with units remaining from morax so there was no way for me to clear it out and the game was completely lost even though I killed his entire power
