Supreme Court casts serious doubt on TikTok’s free speech arguments

First of all, the First Amendment is about being able to express your own VIEWS without persecution. It has nothing to do with any algorithms. That stretch is a fraud. Secondly, right conferred by the First Amendment is intended to be granted to AMERICANS, not foreigners. We also shouldn't be granting all sorts of rights such as due process and free attorneys to NON US citizens.

TikTok literally runs US servers, therefore they have stake in American business and qualify as part of the First Amendment. Second, the First Amendment is about expressing views through any sort of media that will allow those views to be expressed. The First Amendment says nothing about the internet qualifying for free speech. Social media is part of free speech and so is TikTok. This sets a condition that now the government can just get rid of whatever sites ends up exposing views the US government doesn't like. TikTok is a huge outlet for Palestine and the people there, exposing Isreal's crimes they have committed during their genocide on Gaza. The only reason the US even paid any mind towards TikTok was because their Jewish masters didn't want all of that media press coming back at them. Isreal is literally spending millions to try and sway opinions online.

Why would an update to your phone make an app not work anymore? Because they intentionally block it. It is not just a glitch or accident.

Eventually you’ll have to update it or just not be able to do anything on it. That’s how technology works.

Should still be able to sideload if it's not on the app store for Android. I doubt they'd intentionally block it. I could definitely see Apple blocking it.

Cast doubt? How? TikTok is literally no different from Facebook, KZbin, or X. If TikTok goes, all of these sites do too.

A Chinese company has no rights in the USA. I'm surprised they got this far in court. The Justices need to wake up.
