Supreme King Z-Arc Destroying Tearlaments Hand.. Twice! [Yu-Gi-Oh! Master Duel]

In all honesty this Z-Arc version of Pendulum Magician is quite complex and requires a lot of thinking ahead, so I wouldn't recommend using it over regular Pend Magicians, however it's so rewarding when you pull it off!

@@partyboy1340 basically you summon Z-Arc the intended way and destroy it, so it goes into pendulum zone. Use Durendal's effect to shuffle both players hands and then Z-Arc's pendulum effect triggers to destroy every card they draw

For context: Zarc has a pendulum effect where cards that were added to the hand other than drawing are destroyed and that's why the tearlaments couldn't add their cards from deck as it prevents the opponent from adding them to hand

Pendulum Magician is one of the hardest decks to learn/pilot in my opinion, especially this spicy version. Also you have to play really fast to not lose to time.

@@KingYamiBakura I would argue that Pendulum Magicians are easy to learn, but versatile enough to get VERY complex for that deck, though, I can see why... especially considering the use of Cross Sheep, Curtain Riser, and Luster Pendulum. I'm particularly floored at the use of OE Vortex to place Z-ARC in the Pendulum Zone by negating it, that never occurred to me to try... couple that with Artifact Durendal... I got to master that combo. I do have questions regarding that build's consistency, though... considering how Curtain Riser's effect is Once per *Duel,* is having it at 3 for the sake of hard drawing it? and what about Luster Pendulum, is Duelist Alliance the only method you have of searching it?

@@phoenix5029 Luster Pendulum isn't that imporant. It's only there if you have a low scale in hand and want to destroy something to get more fodder in extra deck. You could run Darkwurm alongside Curtain Riser, but in this Ishizu meta I don't recommend it. I actually use only 1 Duelist Alliance now and I put Instant Fusion in to get Beyond Pendulum more often.

@@KingYamiBakura well, in any case, a breakdown of the combo to set up Z-ARC and Durendal would definitely be appreciated... so you already have two people keen on learning this stuff cause almost after seeing this video, i've been trying to build something similar that can get both of them out quickly...... and I keep running into dead ends. I'll either have myself ready to summon Z-ARC, I can get Durendal, but I can't seem to reliably set up Z-ARC as a pendulum scale despite using Vortex Dragon to make it look so easy...

@@phoenix5029 It's pretty hard, not gonna lie. The best way is if you make Timestar with 2 magicians that can be used for Z-Arc in the grave and then Timestar's foolish to dump another one and the last one is Iris in the hand when you pop it and get another one with Astrograph. The problem is Making Durendal if you draw Butler. There is also Stargazer which is lvl 5 and can be brought back with Selene if you dump it and then Butler can be summoned from hand/gy after you make Vortex

a friend of mine also uses a similar combo with zarc to discard the opponent's entire hand, this combo is very strong, also because he manages to also put Apollousa on the field. but the fact is that this combo is very fragile, one or two interruptions and you block it completely

it depends of the enemies deck lets say you have tear as opponent's deck meaning they have fusion and at least 2 xyz.. Z-arc is pretty much flood gate god in this situation because you wont pop your zarc if opponent have like @ignister or salamangreat deck....🤭

​@@KingYamiBakurado u have an updated combo and maybe, if it's not much to ask for, a decklist my guy? Now that the new support is out and it's much more easy to summon Z-ARC. I know that there's a small predaplant engine out there that aims to do something very similar (the hand loop part) but I think it just may be much stronger combining it with ur original idea.

If you draw it, you need to get it in the grave with dissolver and then use his effect to ressurect him. Also you need to dump Stargazer Magician via Timestar's effect and then bring it back with Cross Sheep

I'm not sure what people play in Gold, but if you pull this combo off you will most likely win. The worst match up is Tearlaments, because they trigger when they are destroyed. If any other deck loses their hand, they just scoop. But this deck is very hard to play, because you need to think quite ahead and you have to play really fast to not lose to timer

Pen decks are not that hard when you start playing it. I have only played Odd Eyes for a few days and managed to get some wins againts Kash. Summon Gatlinghoul and win on burn dmg was fun. I thought it would be hard to pilot with the extra effects to look after. But after a few failures here and there it feels easy enough to play.
