The senator from West Virginia Joe Manchin has already stated he is against the Progressives in Congress as are several others. The democrats are hurting because this 'blue wave' that was supposed to happen didn't. In fact, the GOP gained several seat in the House, so far and the Senate GOP only lost 1 seat so far, chances are there will be no more loses. Trump got almost 40 percent of the African American Vote which is just incredible. IF the democrats try to go too far to the left, in 2 years you will see another 1994 or 2010 again with huge GOP gains. Trump still has a chance, better than 50/50. Guliani has a lot of documentary evidence and video evidence of election 'irregularities' to present to the Federal Judges that the appeals are going to end up in. Its all Ultimately going to the Supreme Court anyway. They are gonna 'rule' on this or they are gonna not hear it at all which I cannot imagine will happen. Sorry, but the stakes are too high for the right. They have increasingly been on the ropes since FDR win in 1932 and began implementing the New Deal to cope with the immense economic depression. Repubs and other conservatives were aghast at the overt violation of the traditional American expectation of near-complete self reliance and swore on the BIBLE that they would take down New Deal liberalism and any other form of socialism or socialist-capitalist hybrid. Fast forward to the 1950's and the Cold War, when the politically menacing Soviet Union was on the March through the Third World, exploiting outrage over centuries of colonial oppression. In reality, the USSR could have cared less about "liberating" TW people from the miseries of colonialism; they just wanted to acquire client-state allies in key locations to give the USSR a strategic military advantage they could use in an attack to destroy the U.S. and then have free access to all the resources the Soviets needed but could not afford to purchase with their hard line socialist/communist economy. Understandably, the right deeply mistrusted and feared the USSR and anyone who appeared to sympathize with or adopt a permissive stance towards socialism, communism, and even moderate politically DEMOCRATIC liberalism.I So, here you have it. America's insoluble political troubles stem from our deeply devout and conservative Christian heritage, resultant belief in self-sufficiency and individual responsibility, immense, existential fear of all non-conservatism, and also, moral disapproval and mistrust of African-Americans, LatinX persons, and Native Americans. We'll just have to see what comes next, won't we...

M* H* with the profound belief in my fellow American citizens I believe we will overcome what I believe are the Trump radical, near Nazi style, followers. They are politically looking back to - for them - more comfortable society of those “people in their place” attitude. I prefer to move forward politically where each of us recognizes our own responsibility for ourselves, the environment including our neighbors. We don’t see ourselves as entities to ourselves but in a common interest for the safety and humanity of all humans that we recognize each individual is a member of ONE RACE: the human race. I reject the idea of subhuman species of man. Thus, our common welfare is universal.

@edbenti50077 ай бұрын
McConnell was wrong to block Garland. This “documentary “ is actually biased to the far right by making it appear the Republicans were justified in scorched earth judicial politics because “the Democrats started it”. The Democrats were justified in blocking Robert Bork. He was criminally complicit in trying to cover up Watergate. He is also instrumental in changing American economic policy to favor monopolies over small family businesses. His efforts are party responsible for why Main Street is bankrupt and Wall Street is your oligarchy. The Democrats didn’t “start it”. They were trying to protect the USA from a guy who believes the president should have the power of a king.

If Mitch McConnell is an example you are more than Correct. The World in which Mitch McConnell resides is Toxic and Reeks of Nepotistic Exchange (Russian Oligarchs, KOCH Brothers, James S. Chao/Elaine Chao). McConnell refusal to even allow GOP Members to meet with a Moderate (Judicially) was a case Study in Lies, Distortion and his Desire to Orchestrate the Supreme Court (as if nursing The Koch brothers Citizens United vs Federal Election Commission through the Supreme Court wasn't a sufficient source of: Greed, Power and Political Corruption). This SCALE of men and Political Exploitation isn't dishonest, it is Traitorous. GOGGLE McConnell/ Len Blavatnik (donated 6.5 Million to the GOP With 2.5 designated to "McConnell's Leadership Fund". Len Added an additional 1 Million Dollars to McConnell's Leadership Fund for a total of 3.5 Million Dollars. MIRACULOUSLY the Sanctions on Russian Oligarch Oleg Deripaska (associate of Vladimir Putin) were Lifted and a $200 MILLION DOLLAR Investment in Len Blavatnik Rusal Corporation was made by Russia Oligarch Deripask in McConnell's home State of KENTUCKY. Then recently released (1,000 page) Senate Intelligence Committee Report (Bipartisan) makes BLATANTLY Clear the depths of Our Nation's Corrupt McConnell and the McConnell Controlled GOP has SANK this Nation. @Claus Von Bülow III'm a life long conserative democrat that rejects what the 'democrat party' has become. They have replace their picture of JFK and Bobby with Joseph Stalin and Karl Marx. And by the way, we should give a BIGTIME congratulations to Sen. Susan Collins (ME) on her re-election victory! I was one that wondered if her vote would have doomed her. I also believed the polls that 'fortold' her demise but am so glad for her. IF she were to lose her re-election it should not be because of her vote in this case.

@albertopalma16633 жыл бұрын
@@privateimperialeagle6390 Sanders is not the issue right here. You're missing the point. The truth is that we as a society are going down hill since JFK was assassinated. I am convinced that his assassination marked the beginning of the end of the American empire and DJ Trump marked the end of the end, unless something extremely extraordinary happens like: "Ask not what your country can do for you. Ask what you can do for your country." John F. Kennedy. The day Americans answer that question and start doing for the country what needs to be done will be day the country can be saved. Corruption and the thirst for power are eating this country alive. Just like Rome. The apple dies from within.

The Democratic-Republican Party, better known at the time under various other names,[a] was an American political party founded by Thomas Jefferson and James Madison in the early 1790s that championed republicanism, political equality, and expansionism. The party became increasingly dominant after the 1800 elections as the opposing Federalist Party collapsed. The Democratic-Republicans later splintered during the 1824 presidential election. One faction of the Democratic-Republicans eventually coalesced into the modern Democratic Party, while the other faction ultimately formed the core of the Whig Party.
