Supresión de explosión / Explosion Suppression System

Los sistemas de supresión de explosiones se diseñan para impedir que se desarrollen altas presiones por explosiones de polvo combustible en el interior de espacios o recintos industriales que no han sido diseñados para resistirlas.
La detección y extinción de la explosión contiene la onda de presión y apaga las llamas del interior de depósitos y equipos, pudiendo también evitar su propagación.
Los sistemas de supresión de explosión resultan de indudable interés ya que la mayor parte de equipos y recipientes no resisten la presión de explosión.
