I hope this makes up for lack of video last week. All the material...I can't even deal. I started this last night expecting to work on it the whole weekend but then I didn't even breathe until it was done. I made a typo in a text effect and some clips are oversharpened but I have to live my life now.
I'm sure the pain will start next week:))

ABSOLUTELY BEST NASHVILLE VIDEO IN THE HISTORY OF EVER. Holy crap. I'm blown away. This is gorgeous. I would have never thought to edit with this song, but you made it seem like the ONLY song choice. It was perfect. It captures all of the pain and confusion Deacon and his family, and us as fans, have been experiencing this year. Way. To. Go. Now excuse me while I watch it 100 more times.

YAY this video is beautiful.. Hasn't it been great seeing them so supportive and there for each other. I do hope this continues and they use their relationship as a rock for the show. I mean I have loved me some Deacon Claybourne drama but god it has been good to see these two strong together. That spinning scene it was amazing :-) I love this video.

I know, right? From next week things are going to get painful/difficult/Deacon's gonna break my heart!! This is a beautiful video, with all the perfect clips, and you included their shoulder bump in the kitchen which is actually MY FAVOURITE THING. I thought when it happened it was just a phase and I was going to get over it, but apparently not! Watching this video I was thinking I should just take a minute and think about how far Rayna and Deacon have come... summed up so perfectly in all your clips!! I love this vid!!

You had a blast making this, didn't you? Especially given all the material the new season has provided for you. PLEASE DO SHOW ME DEACON SPINNING RAYNA AROUND IN HIS ARMS ONE MORE TIME, WHY WON'T YOU?? WAAAAAAH!!! It was just beautiful. YOU'RE BACK!!!! :D :D Love it! Can I just say that I feel like we had longer conversations, scenes, kissing, etc. when Rayna and Deacon WEREN'T even together in like Season 1 and 2!?! I want more. I love everything so far but I always feel like I want to see more! Like that scene when he lifted her up and they fell on the bed. Um hello?? lol

+redhead687 Thank you! I always get that feeling too but when I rewatch stuff, the scenes have always been short with a very few exceptions. Like take season 2, there's the big breakup in 2x02, the songwriting session in 2x12 (?) involved mainly singing, then the big one in 2x19 and the proposal in 2x22. Everything else was very quick in that season to my recollection and there was kissing only in premiere flashbacks and in the finale. In season 3 there was barely anything until they got together starting from 3x16. I think it will always be like this tbh and we just have to savor the big scenes when they come.

You are absolutely right. Don't they know that is what we want to see? ugh. In 3x19 (I think) when Rayna breaks down, I almost threw something at the tv cuz I was so mad they didn't continue that scene - it was just getting good! The only exceptions are in like 1x18 to 1x20..especially 1x19 I thought those were great and then quite possibly the most satisfying in terms of lenght/story was the cabbin scenes in 3x16. (Which I still rewatch regularly lol ;)
