Sur Ron Brakes Need Upgrading?

One of the last upgrades to the Sur Ron,
Stock brakes are no longer cutting it.
Got a hold of some Hopes and threw them on.

Everyone is using Hope 4 V4 wrong,i am using it on my Enduro bike and V4 only work well with Hope V4 Vented Rotors,anything else it is just Problematic. Only Hope E4 is designed for normal discs while the distance between pads is narrower than V4. I have read alot and not knowing why they burned my disc, or vibrate,until i put the vented rotors and i have made many thousand miles without any problems. I have the braided hose and the modulation is awesome. Only this setup I recommend. It will work with normal rotors but it will occur only problems in very short time and you don’t know why

Did you have to upgrade the rotor as well? I'm looking to put those brakes on my front/rear stock tires, but not sure which rotors to get.

No you can't, it does not have the words to signal the brake lights.

Give me a reason to change brakes on mine. I can lock the brakes at will now so why the upgrade...I'm using the shimano pads..More pad material looks like?? More pressure at the rotor?

My stock pistons keep sticking and the rotor continually ends up rubbing. Also, with regen turned off, the stock brakes are not very good on steeper trails in my area.

Stocks you can grab a handful and lock them up sure.. but these still have feel when hot, and you can one finger brake with ease and have complete feeling through range. Much better if you do hard riding.

chain recation cycles says their kit comes with 1700mm is that enough for the rear?

@StarWarsKrew No complaints at all. I would upgrade the rotors if I did anything but to be honest I don't feel feel the need to.

@@StarWarsKrew they should definitely stop the bike. Did you bleed them? Try bleeding and nake sure they have proper bite.
