My buddy was riding some tighter trails on a 450 2 stroke. He kept looking back to make sure he hadn't lost me and I was right behind him. These things absolutely rip! Only things I would change, is a tubeless tire setup, better brake pads, a different headset, improved bearings on the driveshaft/jackshaft and maybe a better front shock. More range is welcomed, but as just a dirt bike, it's got more than plenty battery.

I changed all of the aforementioned parts! I've tried tubeless but it's not good for me. For an updated comparison between the muscle Surron and big dirt bikes, check this one out kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z3SmaImLYqmjitk

Honestly one of the best or the best SurRon Videos/channel out there. Perfect riding skills and riding style like a petrol enduro. Keep up the good work. The SurRon is an absolute dream. I’m riding mine in the German forests and it’s even stock very fast.

Génial !! En comparaison avec l'Husqvarna 300 2t qui était avec vous, comment se comporte le Sur-ron dans les grimpettes? J'envisage terriblement cette solution face à l'enduro thermique ! merci et continue :)
@MTO_Brothers3 жыл бұрын
@MTO_Brothers3 жыл бұрын
Tu as aussi l’option électrique dans le gabarit classique d’une enduro : KTM E freeride et Surron Storm Bee notamment. Couple et puissance énorme mais tu n’as pas la même maniabilité c’est certain.
@lucienegloff60583 жыл бұрын

Great video! How many hours of this pace and of riding can you get from one battery on this terrain?
@MTO_Brothers4 жыл бұрын
Most of our rides are between 2h and 2h30, depending on the type of terrain. If you ride on wider, faster trails, it's going to draw the battery quicker than technical, slower trails.

totally fascinating! You guys are living the life! I lived in Lyon, and also spent much time in costa brava. Never been in the forest though, only in my area Seattle WA usa. Do you have the stock 48 tooth rear sprocket or did you upgrade to a larger one? great video thank you!
@MTO_Brothers4 жыл бұрын
Thanks man! We strive to enjoy ourselves 🙂 Regarding the sprocket, we kept the 48T for a very long time (drivetrain was 100% stock on this video). I recently went for a primary chain kit which changes the ratio like if I had a 52T but without changing the rear sprocket (it’s the one on the motor shaft that changes the ratio in that case). How come you lived in Lyon and spent a great deal of time in costa brava (respectively our hometown and our part time home region)? 😀 Also you NEED to get that SR in the forest, it’s where it shines the most. You’ll enjoy more than you can imagine!

@@MTO_Brothers I haven't bought one yet. Right now I have a Frey am1000 in my cart, and then I discovered the Sur ron. I'm trying to decide between the bicycle which I will have access to more parks or the Sur ron where I would be more capable in the forest. Tough decision. I studied for a semester at Jean moulin III and also my best friend is from BCN, he has a vacation home in Costa Brava, spent many nights at the disco there ! What was the favorite.. black and white club? Was a while ago. Your videos are amazing! seriously

@MTO_Brothers4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the kind words, I’m glad you appreciate our videos! The screen is the one that comes stock with the road legal version (at least in Europe). www.sur-ron.com/eu/lightBeeL1e.html You can actually buy it on their eshop but if you have the off-road display (the small one that’s on the left side of the handlebar), you’ll need to adapt the wiring as the connectors aren’t the same (nothing unmanageable though).

I only received my suronX last month, and when trail riding twice, but i was wondering what were your technic for steep downhills? as we don't have a clutch or strong engine braking. do you just ride the brakes or are you using Regen at all?
@MTO_Brothers4 жыл бұрын
I just use the brakes, recently upgraded them actually (video on the subject: kzbin.info/www/bejne/qpnTk6yHbc6AiJo ). In fact I even recently completely deactivated the regen (which is just an engine brake but doesn't regenerate at all). You can tweak the engine brake and set it to stronger if that's what you wish for (if you have the European road legal version, the settings are displayed on the speedometer at startup, if not, you're blind, just have to try different settings to check for yourself). See here for programming kzbin.info/www/bejne/eqfaYopvjKuXiJI (note that you don't need the light adaptor to actually program it, n it's just visual feedback).
