@@Cr3atureOfNature not theoretical... Engine rating. It's not that complicated. Sure there will be some losses on the drivetrain or other friction. But on a dirtbike where you constantly fight for grip anyway it wont be significant. Same as measuring the bikes on a dyno, at that point it is more important how smoothly or stable the power is delivered to the rear and how good the suspension is. That would change the effective power much more.

@@Foerarn1234 TORP doesn’t handle bigger batteries, it’s the same. Both are based on VESC software (but TORP violates the licence to my knowledge). That being said Torp tries to be compatible with more stock features of the bike whereas EBMX gives you more setting options. You can see this like iPhone vs Android in a way 👍

The ultra bee with more travel and larger wheels eats obstacles easier so it's faster in most cases. The smaller bike could maybe be better for really tight technical single track trails

@@MotoAlias yeah they are different beats. Light can be faster and easier to handle in tight sections. Now the Ultra saves the pilot. On this specific terrain I think I could be about as fast with both, but I’ll be more consistent and last longer on the Ultra.

@@kolopier Surron uses pouch cells whereas we use li-ion NMC cylindrical cells. Doesn’t necessarily mean better but usually longer lifespan and we managed to get a perfect layout. 86V has more series (and packs more cells) but unfortunately very few controllers handle more than 80V

@@MTO_Brothers I think you got that backwards. Stock surron isn't pouch cells. The ebmx battery's use pouch cells. Not sure what your battery's are.

@@rirrid5662 it's higher as it needs to accomodate about 290mm of travel. Wheelbase is about the same as the UB I'd say. Gotta check the metrics. You can swap in the UB motor, but not the battery.

@@kolopier seat heigh is 880mm just not sure if the 880mm is at the top of the frame rail or the actual seat. There are three seat heights low, stock, and high. High should add like 20-30mm.

EXT is performing better, but you don’t get the same travel, far from it! I ne between WP and EXT, I’m still choosing WP Now on top of that, you can fit either LB or UB motors, so whatever suits you best. Also UB swingarm won’t stand more than 30kW on the long run. Finally, yeah battery wise, UB has a bigger pack, that being said, we’ve made an 80V 70ah for the Eduro as a prototype, so same range as the big UB batteries 😎 Now don’t get me wrong, the UB is still waiting ´ awesome bike, even more so when upgraded. And it’s road legal!

Kinda, but they need to make a living, mate ;) Now, 90% of the people I know bought the Stark for enduro. Apart from fine-tuning the suspension, the Stark could easily be an enduro bike So, it is a Varg killer, apart from the style 😅 Ratio weight, power, suspension better on that bike Cheers!
