be careful with the big ones and high speed (20km/h) i did 6 years of bmx and was confortable with the track. the moment i took the surron and got on it u went 20kmph 2 ‘2m’ tall bumps i flew off and squashed 2 vertebrae so yeah 3 months recovery and just now i started again sports

There’s no one speed. My approach to jumps is go a little faster than you think you need to because at the end of the day it’s better to go deep and bottom out than to hit the backside of your landing. That’s less true on table tops but if you hold yourself in the security of being able to case you’re basically gonna ride like a bitch forever. Crashes are also guaranteed when jumping and stunting. you will crash way more than casual riding, again, don’t be a bitch. For my qualifications to speak on this? I’ve been riding mountain bikes and dirt bikes my whole life. Really got into jumping and stunts about 9 years ago.

If your not doing anything serious, then a KLX 140 should be good, or if your going to race aswell, an YZ 85 LW or Yz 125 would be good.
